In the afternoon of the next day, Eon came barging in.

It wasn't an exaggeration to say that he literally barged his way inside my room, unannounced at that. I was looking through the countless letters my father brought when I heard a clamor outside. Lukas wasn't around at this time, so aside from me, Eve was the only person in the room.

After hearing the noise, she immediately wanted to come out and look but before she could do that, the door had already been pried open.

"Nads!"

And then came this loudmouth, Eon.

I looked up at him in confusion as he stormed in, huffing and panting as if he had just come running all the way here.

"Eon?"

Why's this guy here? Isn't it too early for their break time?

"Vice-captain," Eve saluted.

Eon ignored the formality and went straight to me.

"Nads! Is it true?!"

"What?" I did not understand what he was asking me at all. What is he suddenly asking me vaguely?
