Capítulo 108: Chapter 108 - Woodland Spirit

Zio, along with the raiders and a knight who were playing chase and slash not long ago, ran towards the same direction.

“ Dude! What the fuck is that?! ” One of the raiders shouts out to Zio.

“ Woodland Spirit! ”

“ Wood fucking what?! ”

The humans are galloping their horses nonstop. They didn’t give their mounts even the quickest span of pause. As there is a glitter of clarity far ahead, Zio knew that the river is close. But when things are seemingly going their way, suddenly the tree roots around them are rising from the ground.

The tree roots created an impassable stockade. It surrounds them with a circling wall made out of radix that stretches for three meitels high, trapping them inside with the enormous spirit. Now they have no choice but to stand their ground and fight for their lives.

With such a creature on their back, those who once fought to kill each other are joining hand to hand in a temporary alliance to overcome the impending danger.
