Capítulo 63: 61. Confession
Shounak was flabbergasted, he went over his conversation with D in his head , to see if he had said something he shouldn't have , but he couldn't find anything . He looked at D," D tell me , did I say something wrong , I'm sorry ,OK. Don't cry please ." There was concern and helplessness in his voice, he was afraid he had triggered some traumatic memory of hers .
D finally calmed down once again ," Its not your fault dummy. I'm so touched that I couldn't help crying. All my life ,I have been waiting for this . The safe heaven to which I can seek refugee to ,if I failed. Someone, in front of whom I can show my weakness. I guess I finally found it . And for your kind information mister , I also like you very very much . I think our feelings are mutual." D smiled mischievously .
Shounak smiled. He was so happy that he wanted to kiss her, hug her , lift her in the air and tell to the world that he was hers and she was his. His eyes were shining ,D could see that . She hesitated for a bit ," But Shounak you should know this, I haven't told about it to anyone not even my grandma ." She looked down and fidgeted with her hand.
He looked at her , held her hand ," you don't have to tell me now , if you don't want to. I don't want you to remember your past on such happy occasion."
She looked him in the eye ,"I have to tell you this. You deserve to know. I just hope that your feelings won't waver after listening to my story ."
He pulled her into his embrace and patted her head," No matter what happened in the past , it's all in the past . Your present and future should be with me and only me. I hope you don't mind I'm very possessive about my people ."
She looked up ," Me too , I too am very possessive , so don't get irritated in future."
Shounak was happy that she was thinking about their future, he was glad that she was taking it seriously.
