Capítulo 93: Administrative Assembly

TIME : 8:05AM

LOCATION : ADMINISTRATIVE BUILDING, MARACAS ISLAND.

The hall used for orientation just a few days back was once again in use as the participants were all seated with the agents seated on stage.

A flurry of whispers go in the air as the participants discuss the recent events that had occurred ranging from the results of the team exercise and also the abrupt interruption by an unknown assailant with the agents already seated on stage watching with interest as they overheard some of the discussions but chose not to react.

Yakob is seated at the right edge of the stage with Mae sitting beside with a smile on her face, He seems to be searching for something as he scans the audience with his eyes resting on Dan, Sai and Ilara as they walked in through the entrance relatively late, Yakob noted the relaxed expression on Sai's face and concluded that Sai had come to terms with whatever Markov had told him, Yakob made a quick decision to meet with Sai after the meeting that was about to be held.

Sai, Dan and Ilara are all seated with Ilara seated in between them, Sai scanned the stage and upon setting his eyes on Markov, he noticed that the latter was watching him and he quickly averted his eyes not wanting to send across the wrong message with his gesture.

The room is soon thrown into silence as Jeroam walks on stage, accompanied by Clark and Tara who could hardly contain their excitement with what was happening.

Jeroam walks to the pedestal and motions for everyone to be at ease before he began to speak.

"Good day ladies and gentle Razas, I am sure you are all wondering why I called for this gathering and also you might have questions regarding recent events on this island..."

Jeroam trails off as one of the participants yells out.

"Yeah what the hell is going on??.. Are the exams still taking place??"

"If you give me a minute, I'll be able to explain things so be calm. The exams are still ongoing but due to the abrupt interruption by a criminal that intended to not only harm some participants but also destroy a portion of the island due to an unfounded vendetta, we had to place the exams on hold to deal with the threat and also fix damages incurred by said individual. Anyways all that is finished now so I am here to officially announce the continuation of the Defense exams."

Jeroam announces with a flurry of applause coming from the gathered participants.

"That's a relief."

Ilara muttered to herself.

"Now besides the fact that we had an uninvited guest during the team exercise, I would also like to speak on a few participants who dared to go against my strict warning to not attack a fellow participant with killer intent…. Would the following individuals come up here; Han Solomon, Nia Rapier and Urch Maen."

Jeroam orders with the aforementioned participants coming on stage with expressionless looks on their faces, Boa on seeing them immediately squeezed his face in disgust as he held a grudge against them for what had happened during the exercise.

"At this very moment, you are meant to be on your way home but due to Agent Dusik who scouted you and brought you in explaining your case and apologizing on your behalf, I have decided to pardon you but do note that any points that were to be awarded to you would be taken away and your possibilities of leaving this island with the first batch is quite slim due to your violent attitude during the exercise. Is there anything you'd like to say in your defense??"

Jeroam asks with none of the trio speaking up though Han gritted his teeth in annoyance as he had a mind to speak but wouldn't as he recalls the warning he had received from his scout.
