Capítulo 64: A matter of principles
"Well well fancy seeing you in a place like this Iron guard, You seem well."
Boa replies with a smile, Ilara surprises Nia with a kick knocking her off Sinatra with the latter writhing from the surprise attack, Urch let's go of Dean and steps back as he notices Sai about to attack from behind him.
"Nice, saved me the trouble of having to hit you."
Sai says as he sits atop a tree branch.
"Who are you guys and why are you here??"
Han asks in frustration.
"Group F at your service, always ready to assist those in need."
Ilara announces with a smile.
"Oh please, don't make us sound like a superhero group, we only came here because we got an orb signal from this location."
Dan replies with a roll of his eyes.
"I know that, I'm just really excited."
Ilara says.
"Uh-huh."
Dan takes a look at Ilara before turning his attention back to Han.
"How dare you stand in the way of my divine judgement…. Who do you think you are, some kind of hero??"
Han asks with anger in his voice.
"We are no heroes but if I remember correctly all participants were advised not too attack an opponent to kill them yet that's what you were doing, we would have snuck out with the orb but your actions towards this team was completely out of bounds and we absolutely cannot allow someone dying in such a gruesome manner when we can do something about it so it's a matter of principles not an act of heroism."
Sai replies as he gets down from the tree branch he was sitting on, Han tightens his fist as anger welled up within him, Urch takes a hold of Han's shoulder and shakes his head to deter Han attacking with Han calming down soon after.
"Fine then, till we meet again Group F, I hope you'll be able to protect yourselves from my punishment."
Han says as he turns and walks away with Nia following behind and Urch taking hold of the orb and disappearing into the thick jungle.
"That was lucky, Thanks you guys, you really saved us back there."
Dean says as he gets back to his feet.
"You don't have to thank us, as I already said we did this as a result of our principles."
Sai replies as he helps Dean stand up straight.
"Anyways I still say thank you."
Dean says as he grabs a hold of Sai to steady himself.
"Are you hurt??"
Ilara asks as she attends to Sinatra who was having a hard time standing up.
"I've had worse I think I'll live."
Sinatra responds trying to make light the situation.
"You look terrible, how exactly did that guy beat you up like this."
Dan asks lowering the iron wall as Boa rested his back on the tree trunk he had destroyed.
"That guy is no ordinary Weaponmaster, he has something that I just can't explain but one thing is for certain if you meet with him in a fight so not let your guard down or let your emotions get the better of you else you risk getting killed at his hands seeing that he would be more than happy to kill variants if he was given an opportunity."
Dan shakes his head in amusement as he heard Boa's words.
"Are you saying the truth or you are saying it in a bid to protect your pride as you just got defeated in such an embarrassing fashion that you are using this scary story to regain some dignity."
Dan replies as he puts his arm out to help Boa get to his feet, Boa takes his hand and he manages to get up but staggers a hit before getting his stamina back.
"Now are you going to attack us or you're gonna leave."
Boa asks.
"There's no need for us to fight as you don't have an orb so there will be no need for a confrontation between us so we will leave you in good faith now."
Dan replies with an unconcerned look as he turns around and begins to walk away.
"Come on Sai, Ilara let's get going."
Sai and Ilara exchange goodbyes as they follow Dan, Boa stares intently at Dan walking away before calling out to him and getting him turn round.
"Be careful Dan, there could be other guys like that on the island take care."
"Of course."
Dan replies.
"Also let's spar once this test is over, I'd like to see how strong you've gotten."
"Tch, I'll think about that, anything else??"
"Nah, you may leave now."
Boa says with Dan turning to leave.
"You seem really injured, try and take it easy for a bit."
Dan says as he walks away with Boa nodding in agreement.

"Ahhhhhh, it's been two hours since we met with Boa and his party, I feel like we'll never find an orb at this pace, we should just give up and go back."
Sai laments as they sit at a clearing in the jungle with the size of the clearing being equal to that of a football field.
"Stop whining so much, we'll find an orb soon don't you worry about it."
Ilara remarks trying to keep team spirits high with Dan remaining silent as he pondered on his thoughts.
"Hey Dan, any idea where we could go next??"
Ilara asks jolting Dan from his thoughts.
"Huh."
Dan is caught off with the question and is left speechless.
"What are you thinking about??"
Ilara asks with interest.
"Oh nothing just analyzing the probability of us finding an orb at this rate, I mean the orbs could all be gone by now taken by other teams so yeah."
Dan replies.
Before Ilara can respond, their trackers come to life with a beep sound as an orb seems to be close by and heading in their direction.
"What is this, the orb seems to be moving."
Sai remarks.
"Moving rapidly."
Ilara added.
"most likely an opponent with a speedster on their team, get ready."
Dan says turning his attention to where the orb signal was strongest, not too long after an orb shoots out from the dense jungle and heads towards Dan at supersonic speed with Dan narrowly avoiding it from crashing into his heart.
Capítulo 65: Crow's return
"What was that??"
Sai asked as he saw the orb smash through a couple of trees with immense force.
"Why is the orb moving like that??"
Ilara asks.
"Did that thing just try to kill me??"
Dan mutters the question to himself under his breath as he saw that the orb was turning round to strike again, Sai gets ready to hit it away but before he can connect his fist with it, Dan intervenes and cuts through it with a blade.
"Yo what's your deal, I had that."
Sai asks with his hands lifted high in frustration.
"That thing broke through trees with relative ease and was going to smash through me if I hadn't dodged it, as long as you haven't learnt to envelope your body in ki there's a high chance the orb would have obliterated your arm as you came in contact with it."
Dan says as he stares at the orb split in two.
"I guess you're right, darn it I hate that you're right."
Sai places his palm on his face.
"Now I wonder, is that a natural thing with the orbs or did someone just attempt to kill us with it."
Ilara remarks in a tone that surprised both Dan and Sai as it seemed Ilara was ready to be serious again.
"Whoa babe, calm it on the sudden attitude change, it's creepy."
Sai says.
"Sorry bout that, but then I've got to get serious or risk our lives.."
Ilara trails off as she turns her attention to the jungle ahead of them.
"Someone's there."
Dan says staring intently at the jungle.
"I'll bring him out."
Ilara steps forward ahead of Dan and Sai with an intense look on her face, she let's out a sonic scream which causes some of the trees to fall over with the general area shaking from the sound.
"Did that work??"
Sai asks as he uncovers his ears.
"I don't think so but I'm sure it would cause whoever just attacked us to come out."
Ilara replies, it doesn't take long before a figure wearing a dark cloak emerges from the fallen trees.
"Who are…."
Dan trails off as the face of the figure comes into view.
"Crow."
Sai mumbles with a growl.
"How's this possible, Dan stabbed you with a bayonet through your torso, we were sure you'd at least be in a coma."
Ilara says with worry on her face.
"That is true, your fair friend over there took a cheap shot at me and it almost killed me.
thankfully I survived but things haven't been so happy for me since I woke up and then I find out that the people that interfered in my work and ended up destroying my life were living happily ever after even vying for a higher position in the world.
I was heart broken when I realized I had lost everything but due to an attempt on my life that gave me quite a scare I realize that sulking won't solve anything and I'd only end up a broken man with nothing left to do with his life so I decided to come for my pound of flesh that way I'd get some reprieve for my suffering and then finally get the job done."
Crow reveals as he takes his cloak off to reveal the hate in his eyes.
"How did you find us??"
Sai asks.
"You can thank the police force for that, they gave me all the information I needed with just a little threat."
"So you are here to have your revenge."
Dan says in a lackadaisical manner.
"Do what you feel you must but I'm sue you should understand that I won't just stand still and allow you kill me."
"We… won't stand still."
Ilara corrects as she walks to stand beside Dan.
"Do we really have to fight him??"
Sai asks knowing the answer.
"I don't think he would allow us leave this place if we asked."
Ilara replies.
"We could try."
Sai remarks.
"That's enough."
Crow yells as he let's out a repulsive force that blasts Dan and the rest back.
"Whoa, did the range of his attacks just increase?"
Sai asks as he tries to stand his ground.
"I'm guessing his emotional state is to blame for the increment."
Ilara chirps in trying to keep her eyes on Crow.
Dan doesn't care much about the explosive repulsive force as he begins to contemplate attacking first to avoid a surprise attack and it doesn't take him long to decide what he was going to do as he rushed towards Crow with sword in hand.
Crow smirks as he acknowledges Dan's boldness and he doesn't stand on ceremony as he charges towards Dan.
Taking a hold of Dan's blade he repels it blasting Dan a few meters back before attracting Dan forward and is about to connect his fist with Dan's jaw but is stopped as Ilara sends a sonic wave his way which offsets him after which Sai connects his leg using immense force with Crow's jaw which sent him spinning backward.
"Don't forget about us champ."
Sai remarks as Dan falls to the ground with an annoyance on his face.
"Dan you were the one that told us once to be wary of this guy, seeing that he might have gotten stronger and also the killer intent in his eyes, wouldn't it be wise to work as a team to take him down."
Ilara says as she bends down and takes a hold of Dan's shoulder, Dan looks up at her as he nods his head in agreement with her words.
"Uhmm guys he's getting back up."
Sai says as Crow gets back to his feet with what just happened fueling his anger towards Dan, Sai and Ilara even further.
"I'll kill you."
A powerful repulsive force blasts the team all the way back as the earth is destroyed as well.
"Urghh, we need a plan."
Ilara says as she tries to get back to her feet.
"I'm going in."
Sai says as he jumps out from where he had crashed and rushed towards Crow.
Crow sees this and is about to blast Sai away but is stopped from doing so as he narrowly avoids being cut through by Dan's blade as he hurled it towards Crow like a spear.
Sai uses the chance Dan gave him to close the distance between he and Crow and immediately attacks with a right fist to the jaw which Crow blocks with his right arm.
Sai tries another fist to the torso but Crow manages to block that one as well but is surprised by a head-butt from Sai which causes Crow to step back from the pain with blood coming from his nose.
Sai rushes forward to gain an advantage and begins a quick fire assault of punches on Crow with the latter being unable to avoid or block all the blows.
Crow gets frustrated with Sai and releases an Omni directional wave of repulsive forces which blasts Sai with immense force.
"Sai."
Ilara calls out and is about to attack when Dan stops her, she takes a look at Dan before letting out a sigh and staying where she was.
Sai gets back to his feet heaving from the attack he had just taken the full brunt of.
