Dan stares at the screen for a while as a name on the screen seems a bit familiar to him, Ilara notices and nudges him to get his attention.
"What's up??"
"That name Boa seems familiar to me, I feel like I've heard it somewhere before."
Dan replies as he removes his attention from the screen.
"Now that we know our respective teams, how about we get to the first test of today."
Jeroam announces as Markov comes to stand at his side.
"You all will be going through a series of tests to evaluate your physical and mental states while also evaluating your individual as well as team strengths."
Markov states matter of factly.
"Your first test will be one to test how you work together as a team.
So this test will work as a treasure hunt as we have spread out seven orbs throughout the island and you have been charged with finding at least one orb per team and bringing it back to this administrative building to be assessed and scored.
You are allowed to bring back more than one orb as it will serve as extra points for you.
You all will be transported to the extreme end of the island and from there your quest will begin.
As you have noted the orbs are not equal to the number of teams so obviously there are teams that will have to lose for others to win.
Confrontation cannot be avoided as you will not only be battling against the monsters that reside in this jungle, but you'll also be battling each other to gain an orb, are there any questions??"
Markov asks as he surveys the teams.
"No questions??.... Alright then our scouts will be handing out trackers to you, with these trackers you'll be able find an orb and you'll also be able to tell when an opposing team is close by, we'll also use it to keep tabs on all of you."
Markov says as the scouts hand out the trackers, when they are done Jeroam speaks in a tone that sounded more like a warning than an instruction.
"Ah yes, lest I forget, I'll be saying this only once so listen up close.
Any attempt made by any of you to kill or maim an opponent out of a desire to reduce the number of opponents he or she will be facing during this test will be immediately neutralized by our agents that will be following up on everything after which he or she and their team will be sent home promptly.
So I'll advice that there be a good and clean competition amongst you all, so are you all ready??"
A flurry of yesses erupt from the more enthusiastic candidates.
"Alright then, let the exams begin…. Kūkan Yugami : Yusō (Spatial distortion : transport)."
A white aura appears over the crowd of participants after which it envelopes them and they are transported from the auditorium to different parts of the island to begin their search.
"Gentlemen and ladies, shall we take this meeting elsewhere."
Jeroam remarks to the agents on stage as he begins to walk off the stage with the agents following closely behind.
Capítulo 58: A familiar name / Team exercise I
"This year's exams might turn out to be quite interesting."
Jeroam remarks as he takes a seat amongst the agents.
"It's surprising you decided to take charge personally this year, are you feeling like we can't take care of things here."
Yakob asks with a smirk.
"Not that but depending on how things go, I need to be here."
Jeroam replies with a serious expression.
"You must be the only elder in the twelve realms that takes part in national crisis investigation without a care in the world for his elderly duties."
Dusik says with a chuckle.
"What's the problem though, you seem on edge with the investigation."
Roman asks.
"You don't have to worry, everything is under control."
Jeroam replies with a more relaxed tone.
"Anyways apart from that, What's on your mind Markov, you seem lost in thought."
Mae asks Markov as he looks like a man with a heavy thought on his mind.
"One of the participants had a surname that seemed awfully familiar, Kisoka was it??... Does the participant by any chance share any relations with Ean Kisoka??"
Markov remarks.
"Do you want to find out, you could check him out when he gets back from the team test."
Mae replies.
"Yeah, I guess that would be OK."
Markov replies as he continues to ponder on his thoughts.
"I don't think there will be need to question him though as the participant in question, Sai Kisoka is the son of Ean Kisoka."
Yakob replies in a lackadaisical manner.
"Why didn't you tell me that Ean's son would be participating??"
Markov asks in an upset voice.
"I didn't deem it important or necessary at that time especially with regards to our history with his father."
Yakob remarked.
"I should punish you for withholding such a thing from me but I'll leave it be for now, see to it that he comes to meet me after the search test is complete, I would like to speak with him."
Markov says rather bluntly.
"Yeah sure, I'll d just that."
Yakob replies as the tension that had sprung up in the air between Yakob and Markov settles with Jeroam and the agents watching with keen interest at their banter.

Dan, Sai and Ilara are transported to the island beach at the west side of Maracas with less trees and more open space.
"where the hell are we??"
Sai asks as he surveys the area from where he stood, before he could get an answer a loud roar is heard behind them, Dan and Ilara turn round to come face to face with a sea monster that had come up from the ocean; a dragon like creature with fan like ears and green scales with its torso still under water and only it's neck up to its head being visible towering over Dan, Sai and Ilara at a height of ten meters.
"what the hell is that??"
Ilara asks wide eyed.
"That should be one of the monsters prowling around the island that the administrator told us about, be careful we don't know what it's capable of."
Dan remarks as he gets into fighting stance with the others doing same, the creature let's out a loud roar which offsets the gang after which it let's out spit from its mouth towards Dan but he avoids it without much effort, the spit turns out to be acidic as it melts the earth where it landed.
"You guys should be careful, That thing spits acid from its mouth."
Dan says.
"Uh-huh, I think that's pretty obvious from what just happened."
Sai replies with Dan giving him a vicious look.
"Get ready."
Ilara announces as the creature begins to release a barrage of acid on the group with Dan, Sai and Ilara jumping around to avoid getting hit with its acid.
"There seems to be no end to this attack, we've got to do something."
Ilara remarks as she keeps avoiding the creature's acid attack, Sai gets frustrated with the jumping around and decides to take initiative with the attack, Sai lunges towards the creature after which he makes a leap towards the creatures head and lands a cycle kick square at the center of its head which disorients the creature for a little bit with Sai landing on his two feet and the creature letting out what seemed to be more of squeal than a roar.
"What do you think about that??"
Sai asks Dan cockily with a smile on his face.
"I don't think that did much but I've got to ask since when did you start attacking with kicks??"
Dan asks quite surprised that Sai would attack with a kick instead of a punch like he normally does.
"Since I graduated from a D+ Weaponmaster to C- Weaponmaster."
Sai replies with a smirk.
"Uhmm guys, the monster is starting to regain it's bearings."
Ilara calls out as the monster regains it's balance and is about to unleash a second wave of acid attacks on Dan, Sai and Ilara.
"A blunt force attack won't work so well against such a beast, we need to take another approach. Running is not an option cause it would most likely attack if we turned our backs for even a second; Sai, Ilara, you guys distract the beast for me."
Dan requests with Sai and Ilara acknowledging his request as they split in different directions, the monster is about to let out an attack on Dan but is put off by Ilara as she let's out a sonic scream, the monster turns to face Ilara but is struck from behind with a large rock, it turns to face Sai as he held another rock in his hand.
"Whacha gonna do."
Sai taunts the creature with a cocky smirk, it is about to release it's acid on him but Ilara let's out an even louder scream that causes the creature to squeal at impact.
"Good, now it's my turn….Tetsu no shutsugen : sen no tanken( iron emergence : a thousand daggers)."
Dan yells as a thousand sharp metal projectiles are formed around the creature, he faces his palm towards the creature and closes it after which the projectiles fly towards the creature, making impact and breaking it's skin at several points around it's head and neck, the creature let's out a pained scream as it begins to wriggle in pain, Sai notices that the creature still wasn't falling so leapt into the air and landed another cycle kick on the creature's head making contact with one of Dan's dagger planted at its forehead which drove the dagger even further deep into the creature's skull and killing it instantaneously, Sai landed beside Dan after doing a flip midair to cushion his fall, the creature drops dead with its fall causing a small tremor.
"That was fun."
Sai remarks.
"Good job on the plan, Dan… It worked out well, maybe you should be the leader."
Ilara comments with a smile.
"I don't think so, I'm only doing this cause we would be dead if I didn't."
Dan replies with sass.
"OK, OK… We should get going before another one of those things pops up again."
Sai says after which the trio begin to move towards the center of the island.
