Capítulo 397: Unforeseen Alliances, Part Nine

Akasan was back on Earth. He was sitting atop of a hill, staring out at the night sky.

Amaterasu walked up besides him. She was holding an item of clothing in her hands, folded neatly. "Akasan."

Akasan looked back. "Hm? Oh, hey Amaterasu."

She handed him the garment. "For you."

Akasan accepted the gift. "Thank you. What is it?" He unfurled it. It was a black robe with a navy blue trim. On the back was a silver circle.

"A robe. Zhi Nu weaved the fabric, I made the design."

"It's light… I like it. I'll definitely wear it tomorrow."

Amaterasu frowned a little. "You remember my request from when we first met, yes?"

"You mean the stuff about Eudora? Yeah I remember."

"I need you to succeed. I can't achieve peace by myself."

"Don't worry. I won't lose."

Amaterasu clenched her fists at her sides. "If you do conquer the Nine Layers… I want you to let me bear your child."

"Huh?!" Akasan's eyes went wide. He stood up. "Did something happen to you?!"
