Always breathe five times if in a panic attack.

That's what Christian always told me, that's what I abided by. It always worked.

But for some reason, it didn't this time. It was like it was mocking me.

Breathe five times.

That's what I did. 

But why isn't it working?!

Oh right, my whole world stopped the moment I saw Trish in the air after being hit by a car.

"TRISHA!!!" I don't know when I shouted her name.

I couldn't move, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't think. I could just stare at Trish until she hit the ground harshly. 

I see blood gushing from everywhere and I suddenly feel sick. All the alcohol has left my system leaving me to face the harsh reality.

I see her gasping for air and I stand slowly.
