Capítulo 9: Chapter 9
Bon: "Let's go to my backyard so we can start your training."
Fran follows Bon to his backyard.
Bon: "Let's start with teaching you how to use magic. Using magic is like moving any other muscle in your body; it comes naturally to you. So just try to imagine magic being something normal to you and get the urge to use It because simply thinking about using it won't work. So If you don't believe you can use magic you won't be able to use it and if you don't have a goal in mind when you use it then it will just be a mess and out of control."
Fran: So using magic should just come naturally if I want it to happen this shouldn't be that hard then. Just visualize fire in my hand and it should come out.
After Fran visualizes and wants fire to appear on his hand he gets what he wants and his hand appears to be engulfed in flames.
Bon: "So you can now use magic but this won't be that easy for you to control at the start. Magic also has characteristics you need to know as well so you can get a full understanding of how it works towards the owner of the magic and those who will be in a clan with you."
Fran: "And that would be."
Bon: "Notice how when you used your fire magic on your arm it didn't burn you or feel any heat from it. That's because your own magic can't affect you. This also applies to any of your own clan members your magic won't affect them and their magic won't harm you. This applies to fire, lightning, and wind magic. For ice, water, rock, and light magic there're some exceptions and for dark magic I don't know. Let's use ice as an example so make some ice with a pointy point."
As Bon asks Fran he makes some ice and it comes from his feet in the direction of Bon in front of him.
Bon: "Good you don't feel any cold from it right."
Fran: "No."
Bon: "How about weight."
Fran: "Now that you mention it the ice doesn't feel that heavy."
Bon: "Ok now detach the ice away from yourself."
Fran: "How do I do that?"
Bon: "Just imagine the ice detaching from your body and it will come off."
Fran: "Simple enough."
Fran detaches himself from the ice.
Bon: "Now touch the ice with your hand."
Fran places his hand on the ice.
Bon: "Do you feel cold from it?"
Fran: "No, I still don't feel anything from it."
Bon: "Now try picking it up, does it still feel like it doesn't weigh much?"
Fran: "No, now I cant even make it budge."
Bon: "Now come towards me where the point end is and press your finger on it."
Fran walks over to the point end of the ice and presses his finger onto the ice until it makes his finger bleed.
Bon: "Now do you see what I meant by there's exceptions to your magic not affecting you. When it's a solid or a liquid even if it's your magic it's not like you will just walk through it like it's air. Also the reason the ice weighs more after you detach yourself from the ice is because after you sever yourself from your magic when it's a liquid or solid then it will weigh what it normally would if it was regular water or ice. Now I'll tell you the exception of light magic."
