Capítulo 11: Hatake Sakumo
The Konoha's base camp was huge as tents of all sized were placed everywhere. Yami felt that the order here was good because the areas were divided into ranks of the ninja. Only Tokubetsu jonin and above could have a personal tent and the size was bigger with the bigger rank. The system followed hierarchy but Yami was not dissatisfied with it as in this world after all only the strong were respected .
Yami's teammates went to the mission country inside the base while he went towards Sakumo's personal tent. Many allies saw him on the way but gave no reaction. Yami did not mind as his strength was more but his current rank was only a jonin. Elite jonins and Kage level ninja were the ones who held the main command inside the camp. While jonin were merely single combatant or a leader of a small squad. Konoha had huge number of forces which included many jonin but elite jonins were only about three hundred in number while Kage level ninja were only a handful.
Yami met the chunin guard outside Sakumo's personal tent and greeted him. Soon he was allowed to enter so Yami entered with wide steps inside. He saw Sakumo doing the maintenance of his short sword with a peaceful expression on his face. The guy was middle age but pretty handsome with silver white hair.
Yami - Sakumo san, Hokage told me to follow your orders from now on as my mission to deliver the supplies successfully is already completed. We had an encounter with 30 sand ninjas and three of them were jonin class. I killed them swiftly and their corpses must have been delivered to Mission counter already.
Yami said in a proud tone because he was really proud of his strength. He had some cheats but he also trained like hell all the time to achieve it himself after all.
Sakumo also felt very interested in Yami because he was neither respectful or afraid of him. He had met many allies in his lifetime but only few had the courage to behave so casually in front of him during their first meeting. He actually too liked casual atmosphere because his personality was such so he appreciated allies like Yami. He was also great surprised by Yami's words that he killed all the thirty enemies alone. He wont comment on his now but he would definitely investigate it later. They needed powerful allies after all and if Yami's strength surpassed his expectations then he would welcome it instead.
Sakumo - Okay I understand. Yami kun, you will be under my direct command from now on. We expect a large scale battle with Sand during this month so be prepared but you are excited from any missions in these twelve next days except emergency ones. By the way Yami kun, why are you wearing sunglasses?
Yami smiled as finaly someone asked him this question . He naturally wore them as they looked stylish but there was another important reason tooo. The sunglasses were enchanted by Kushina's special anti perception seal and according to her even Kage level ninja wont be able to see through it. Yami was grateful to her as he could now keep his EMS activated all the time without worrying about anything.
Yami - Oh.. well they are special ones which are enchanted with Kushina san's special sealant formula. Dont worry, they won't prove an obstacle during battles at all.
Sakumo - Its fine with me. I was just curious that's all. Yami kun, let me ask you one last question before you can go. Do you prefer to lead a team or acting alone?
Sakumo somehow already valued Yami a lot more than other jonin so he decided to ask this question. He would think of Yami's future placements after getting his answer.
As for Yami , he did not even think this time.
Yami - I prefer to act alone Sakumo san. I can go all out this way and end the battles fast. By the way, I have heard a lot about Kakashi Kun and his exploits. Congratulations for having such a talented son.
Sakumo - Hahaha.. well he still has a long way to go but it does feels nice to hear praise for my son. Thank you.
Yami - Dont mention as I only said the truth. Sakumo san, can you tell me about the rough situation of the battle? I have seen many medical nin on my way here now. Did Chiyo use some kind of new deadly poison this time ? .
Sakumo - You are pretty sharp Yami kun. Yes, that old lady is really giving me headache . Since the previous battle, many allies have died by her poison and three of our elite jonins are currently in coma. I just hope that Tsunade comes here soon otherwise we will be at a lot of disadvantage during the next battle.
Yami frowned after hearing this as the situation was more dire than he had thought. He could do nothing about this as he had good amount of knowledge from reading all the medical and poison related books inside the collection of Konoha hospital but he could barely create antidote for low level poisons currently. So he decided to forget about it and decided to wait for Tsunade as he was excited to meet her. She was the greatest medical ninja in the elemental nations so maybe he could learn many things from her. Most importantly she was beautiful as old Yami had personally seen her few times during the second ninja world war when he was just a fresh genin. Yami had no plans to date her but beautiful women were always a great feast for eyes after all...
