Felix lowered his head and clasped his fingers. He unconsciously blurted that out just to lessen the tension in the atmosphere. He was a teacher now in front of Amy and he didn't want the girl to misunderstand anything, just like before.
Even if it wasn't a misunderstanding, he believed that it was all his fault, since he was the more mature one at that time. He already regretted it and promised himself that he will not repeat the same mistake.
"You don't need to talk to me like that.." Amy breathed. "Sir Felix." she looked him in the eyes. "I came here as your student anyway, so there is nothing with that."
Felix felt the bluntness in those words. It was like water, flavorless, but will drone you deeper. He clasped his hands tighter.
"I see," he replied, hiding his bitter smile. "Is it uncomfortable for you to talk to me or if I stay here? If you want, I can just go outside,"
