It turned out that the sound of the footsteps did not belong to the doctor or the police. What Gabby and Jason saw were several men wearing all black. Their bodies were tall, their eyes were decorated with black glasses, and their hands carried electric baton sticks.

Hotel Casa Blanca is always used for illegal activities. And the source of income is from the big tips left in each room. 

If for example the hotel activities were known to outsiders, their source of income would have drastically decreased. Even worse, this hotel might be destroyed by the authorities.

A group of men did not think that a small girl could make a hotel mess up. Even though they feel unsure of their own abilities, they are more afraid of losing their source of income.

"Hey you," One of the tall, big men pointed at Gabby with his baton stick, "Get off the boy, okay?"
