"Elder Sister Chenxi, why did you bring me here?"

Ye Tianxin did not understand what Guan Chenxi wanted to show her.

Guan Chenxi picked up half a candle and a plastic bottle. "I found this here earlier," she informed Ye Tianxin.

Ye Tianxin was filled with worry and fear.

She looked at the two items and understood what they were.

It was no ordinary fire. It was arson.

But who did it?

Who hated her so much?

Who hated her so much that they wanted her and her grandmother to perish in the fire?

"I will call the cops now."

Ye Tianxin wanted to get her phone but only realized then that her phone, computer, and other valuable items had all been consumed by the fire.

Guan Chenxi remarked, "I've already called the cops, but we might have to wait for a while."

The night was cold.

In the mountains, a thin layer of fog appeared.

It was getting misty.
