The next day, Qi Hui went to see Wei Yong. They had arranged to meet at the same place as before.

"I only found out about the patent application after the teacher told me about it."

Qi Hui smiled apologetically as he explained to Wei Yong.

Wei Yong tapped his fingers on the table and listened quietly. He seemed a lot less angry than Qi Hui expected, so Qi Hui felt relieved.

"Mr. Qi, this is not your fault. I can totally understand why he did it," replied Wei Yong calmly.

Qi Hui smiled without saying a word.

"No matter what, he should've told you. We have made plans based on your words, so this doesn't look good on you." Wei Yong looked at Qi Hui and responded coolly.

Qi Hui instantly became worried. Even though Qi Hui did not send in the patent application personally, he lowered himself and nodded. "You're absolutely right, Mr. Wei. I totally agree."
