After lunch, we stayed a couple of hours talking about my father while Tracy went to the backyard with the boys to play.

"When your mother died, Daniel couldn't handle staying at the pack, it was filled with so many memories," Tala said as we were drinking tea. "He never came back, but he kept in contact with the Alpha."

Hearing her talk about my father was a bit strange, we never talked about my father's family before, and I always thought that my father was a lonely child. He was a really strong man, even after what happened to my mother he stayed strong for my sake.

It was starting to get dark, so we left with Tala assuring me she'd be at the packhouse tomorrow to say goodbye before Kimi, Tracy, and I left.
