Capítulo 25: Chapter 25

Around 6 o'clock the tables were all set with plates, utensils, and cups as well as the big plates of food, water, and juice jugs. Few minutes after we were done people started to get in the room and going to their tables, the room was filled with chatter as families started to talk, children telling their parents about their school, and others talking about their day. I went to our table and sat on my chair, no one was there yet and that made me worried, Jacob said he'd be here about thirty minutes ago when he left me in his office but when I got down here I didn't find him, I got distracted with preparations I forgot why I went down here at first place.

"Melanie you're here early!" Said Lauren as she and Daniel were approaching the table. She came and sat beside me as Daniel sat in front of me scrolling through his phone.

"Yeah I was helping around," I said looking at the door, "Hey do you know where Jacob is?" I asked her hoping he had passed by them earlier.
