Capítulo 60: Questioning Samantha

"Dear, how do you think the girl will react?" Susanne enquired once the king left the Bradford mansion. Though they did not know where he was going, it was not their place to question him about it. So, they kept silent until Alastair was gone.

"Mother, how did the king find out about that girl? Did he visit us before today?" Cyrus asked a question of his own, gaining his parents' focus on him. 

Vaughan and Susanne immediately turned to look at each other with a questioning gaze. However, nobody knew the answer to it, and they shook their heads in unison. 

"Well, this is surprising!!" Vaughan commented, sipping the wine from his chalice. "It's a wonder that the king knows about the girl in our mansion while we are even oblivious to her presence. And, it is more astonishing to find out that nobody knows how the king even learned about her."
