Capítulo 168: Awkward talk

The dimly lit living room was filled with thousands of questions waiting for the correct moment to ask as though an important press conference was held. 

Lucas wanted to know what happened to the brat and what prompted him to do such a silly thing whereas Harith wanted to know where Sara was and how the snob managed to find her after a long year of searching. 

Neither can deny the awkward and tense atmosphere. 

Neither was comfortable with the overly friendly ambience. 

But also, neither wanted to be the rude one first after their polite blunder. They forced themselves with the facade, cringing when hearing their own voice being polite towards each other, raising goosebumps all over. 

"How did you –" 

"What made you –"

They both asked simultaneously. 

"After you –"

"After you –" 

They cursed inwardly at the jinx, filling the room with deafening silence!
