Capítulo 81: Rumours

Lucas was in a state of tumult when the boys came over his manor that night, uninvited and apparently bearing ground breaking news. At first he assumed Shiuh Wei would be bringing "good news" about his sister having a bun in the oven. Her being pregnant would divert the attention towards the baby and less on pestering him. 

He was confident she was still holding a grudge for ruining her wedding reception party and had been trying to find an opportunity to find his faults. He was still walking on eggshells; feared she somehow managed to dig up the dirt on him and the secret of what he did to the lady would be leaked. Unfortunately, there goes his fanciful hope down the drain.

When he inquired, he could not comprehend why they were teasing him instead and not let him in the know of the so-called news. Bored with their childish antics, in the end he decided to ignore them and not pushed the matter further.
