The techie explained how he manipulates the engine velocity and other things that I couldn't comprehend with my non-scientific mind. The paper he slipped in my mouth is in my pocket, I'm not sure if he's reading my mind right now; Vell smiles at me when he sees the bulge of paper I slipped in my pocket.
