Her smile mesmerized Enzo. He slowly extended his hand to touch her, but Hazel held his forefinger in her small hand.

He was stunned for a moment but then relaxed as she started giggling. Somehow he felt special as if she was also happy to meet him. He stood there silently, staring at her while she made different faces.

Enzo was amused, watching her expressions. He didn't know why, but he felt like he could watch her the whole day and not get bored. He was not aware how much time had passed when his mother, Aurora, called him to inform him they were leaving.

Enzo frowned, not happy about leaving when earlier he was angry that he missed his football practice. And now, he was not ready to part with baby Hazel.

He knew his parents were waiting downstairs, so with a heavy heart, he decided to bid goodbye to the baby.
