Askeladd secretly laughed. With his goal accomplished, the wolf put the dagger away once more. He did not intend to let himself be killed. However, he was extremely sincere with her and except for abandoning from her and their cubs; Askeladd would rush to fulfill any of Sascha's wishes.

After this, only the sound of the puppy eating could be heard in the shed. During this time, Sascha stared at the cub while Askeladd stared at Sascha. Watched from so closely and with such a level of concentration, a vein began to throb in her forehead.

When little more than half the porridge was left, the puppy began to blink sleepily. Sascha held the bowl just as the thin-boned hands began to loosen. In perfect coordination, Askeladd held the boy's head.

"Put him on the bed." Moving her red lips, Sascha vocalized. Even in his human form, a Fenrir's senses could not be despised, and although Sascha's words were more than a whisper, the Wolf's ears picked them up easily.
