Capítulo 25: Reunion.

The Prophet, little to no information was known about his existence with the majority believing him to be a myth. They thought the destruction of the Ten Commandments was the end to it but Ki-tae had in his hands, proof that they had resurfaced. It was made in Braille to enable him to read and understand what he had within his grasps.

"How is this possible?" He thought to himself, trembling in fear before reaching for his container and downed some tablets to calm down. The name on the container was Prozac.

Taking deep breaths, he would feel relaxed and recollected himself just as quickly, it was time to prepare for the worst-case scenario.

The story as it was told clearly stated the keys were all lost or destroyed. For if even a single one remained, it could be used to recreate the rest.

The key of depravity, it is said to corrupt anyone who possesses it. It is rumored to be the most dangerous out of the keys for it was the core.

Whatever was about to occur, it was definite;y, not good news to anyone that advocates peace.

"Step on it! We need to return as soon as possible!" Ki-Tae would bark, it was unusual for him to lose his cool and this startled even the elderly driver but he would soon shout.

"STOOP!" Prompting the diver to screech to a halt and Ki-tae would stay still, listening to something.

"This rhythmic footstep….. " He said out loud, before attempting to jump out the car to trail whatever he had heard but the driver would lock the door quickly. The old man had finally lost it, the driver thought process drifted in that direction.

"Master! Calm down. This is unlike you." The driver would say in a loud tone, sounding concerned. Ki-Tae realized how irrational he was behaving and a very loud sigh escaped out his parted lips.

"Stay put, I will go check it out." The driver would reassure him, wearing a typical plain, collared white dress shirt beneath a completely black suit with a black flat cap hat. He had on black shoes that were rather expensive but the way he took off, it was clear he did not care much for this elegant design.

Ki-Tae pointed in the direction of the footsteps and this was the direction in which the sprint was based on.

"He did not even tell me who I was looking for.." He thought, shuffling through the crowd, blindly searching for anything familiar but it was not easy.

"This is stupid, I ought to just tell him I did not see anything." The driver thought once more but just as he was about to give up on this goose chase, a hand would grip his forearm from behind and a voice soon followed.

"Mister?" It would say and the driver readjusted his gaze in the direction of the voice, it was Jinwoo.

He would embrace him in a tearful reunion but it was over the top. This brought about curious stares from bystanders.

Embarrassed, they would quietly and awkwardly enter the car amidst the curious whispers of passers-by and Jinwoo was in tears upon seeing Ki-tae but Ki-tae seemed cold.

"Jinwoo…." He would say in an unaffectionate tone and this made Jinwoo cringe in disbelief. He did not understand, was his Master not as excited to see him as he was him?

"Yes, Master Ki-tae." he would answer, the disappointment was portrayed in the tone of his voice.

"Why do you smell of blood?" The Master would ask in a firm tone, this put Jinwoo on guard instantly.

"W-What are you talking about?" Jinwoo would reply, with a shaky voice but there was no hiding the truth from Ki-Tae.

"What have you done, Jinwoo?" Ki-Tae asked him, Jinwoo knew he could not hide the truth from him. The fact that he could hear the rhythm of the faintest sound, this included the heartbeat of man, made it impossible for anyone to lie in his presence, even pathological liars could not escape from him. Biting his lower lips, he reluctantly said.

"I killed a human… No, I killed a monster. This is not the blood of anyone innocent. I know I should have called the authorities but I was overcome with...rage. I am sorry Master." Jinwoo pleaded, bowing his head forward.

Ki-Tae remained silent for a while, he trusted the judgments of all his members, most especially Jinwoo.

"I see. Jinwoo, tell me….. What is the function of law?" Ki-Tae asked but Jinwoo would not answer, looking away in shame.

"Jinwoo, you will tell me what happened in detail right now but first…." Ki-Tae would say and Jinwoo maintained his silence, disappointed that his Master did not seem remotely happy to see him.

".…..I am glad you are safe, Jinwoo. If anything had happened to you....." Ki-Tae continued, sounding more like a father with Jinwoo's face immediately curling upwards into a satisfied smile as the car sped off.

Jin-Hyuk's heart had restarted, but with his 'death', the runic writings that kept his Archetype in check had vanished for it used his beating heart as a catalyst. Hayoon was nowhere to be seen for she had left the building, and was headed to the Police Station, she was certain no one could escape unless they take their own life as Jin-Hyuk did.

"He has deemed me worthy!" Jin-Hyuk would mutter contentiously, it was safe to say he was closer to insanity.

Easily, he broke from his chains. He was finally free and with but a swing of his right hand, the metal bar serving as his cell's door would be blown to smithereens. Chaewon would hear the rumble and what came to her mind was Hayoon was torturing Jin-Hyuk but with what? The rumble was far too potent for this to be a normal torture session. She was more thankful than ever that she spilled the beans or this could have been her.

"When did you forsake yourself, Chaewon?" A hoarse voice asked.

She looked up and saw a bloodied Jin-Hyuk before her. Looking at him from head to toe, she noticed he was drenched in blood but whose? Jin-Hyuk noticed her confused look and said.

"Do not look so confused, little one." Jin-Hyuk would say with a content smile but that smile will soon turn upside down.

"I see all, little one…." Jin-Hyuk would say, clearly building up the suspense to a perceived punchline but Chaewon at that moment knew that this was not Jin-Hyuk, she looked terrified. This presence before her, it was 'The Prophet."

"Do not worry, I am here to release you," Jin-Hyuk said, this made Chaewon smile, she had been forgiven.

Stretching forth his left hand, he formed an open fist. He was outside the bars that housed Chaewon.

"I am sorry but you have lost my grace. With this, I set you free." Jin-Hyuk said, forming a clenched fist and with that, the head of Chaewon imploded, painting the walls in pasty red with her brain splattered everywhere.

The man known as Jin-Hyuk was now acting as some sort of vessel with his Archetype amplified.

But there was a downside, he had a limited time that he could stay in this body.

He did not waste time prying around and exited the building with the utmost urgency.

Clapping both hands like he was saying a prayer, the entire underground dungeon-like construct would collapse, burying the corpse of Chaewon, and whatever else was caught in its sheer destructive power.

It was clear Hayoon didn't know anything of importance judging by the question she had asked during the interrogations, and the fact that he was 'present' during the interrogation of Chaewon gave him all he needed to know. Not to mention Jin-Hyuk infiltrating the mind of Hayoon just before passing out, long enough to know where Byung worked and nothing else due to the rushed circumstance, this was why he smiled at that moment.

He now had a set destination, and that was the location of Byung's workplace but he had no idea that he was fired.

A man could be seen entering the former workplace of Byung, but it was Mrs. Han at the counter. The part-timer had not arrived and the moment Mrs. Han's eyes caught a glimpse of this customer, she would instantly become tensed due to his rough appearance. He was a young fair-skinned man with sharp features, golden eyes, and long green hair that spikes upward in two large prongs, making him look very much like a young wolf. Approximately 5'11, he has a lean but muscular build. He wears a silver chain around his neck with a dog-tag, a tight grey v-neck long-sleeved shirt that hugged his body. He had on tight black jeans with a pair of black flip flops.

"So no erotic magazines here either, huh?" He would say, clearly disappointed.

He was in his mid-twenties and a closer look at his dog-tag read. 'Lee Woojin.'
