The gentle stroke of his thumb to brush away the wayward tears that escaped my eyes made me realize I was crying. ''I can't promise you anything, Yuri. I'm messed up, my life is messed up, everything about me will only bring loneliness to you.''

Yuri smiled, ''I don't believe that.'' clasping my hands in his, he gently placed it above his beating heart, ''you are the only I want. Nothing you say will change it. Nothing.''
