It seemed impossible—no, it was possible because there was no way that what Prince Qui was seeing to be not real. There were animals conjured out of nowhere. How could he think on a small scale? Chickens? Pigs? He should've guessed that magical staff could summon war animals.
And he was talking HUGE war animals.
Due to their greatness, the elephants were the first to come into view, their bodies fantastic and trunks thick. Then came a few rhinos (Prince Qui thought they were extinct as many animals were after The Wars). Then there were the speed animals. The tigers, each tooth as lethal as a sword.
Prince Qui's throat went dry.
He did not believe in magic.
How could he?
Even when he found out that Tianshi Xue had transmigrated to the princess's body, he still held on to the thought that it was just a coincidence.
Hello! I am back... yet again. I know that I keep on saying that I'll update regularly. I've been trying to do that for three months now, but after everything that has happened in my personal life, I find that I'm still struggling to grab a hold of my writing.
But here we are. I will try my very best this month--really push myself--to update this book every other day as I want to get to the bottom of things too and finish.
Please bear with me and if you're still here, thank you so much for patiently waiting for the updates. There's a lot of things coming in the next chapters.
Stay tuned.
xoxo
