Capítulo 3: I became what!!??
"System, if I remember correctly you told me something about me being successfully awakened before I fainted right?" Tyler asked the system while eating his breakfast.
[What host is saying is correct. The host has successfully awakened, to be precise- the host has successfully awakened the soul.]
"Soul? My soul?"
[Yes, you have awakened your soul when you turned 18.]
"That's good to hear, so this opportunity I got is due to me, and it has something to do with my soul. Then what was that about me becoming something." Tyler was happy because it has something to do with him being special.
[As host has successfully awakened you have become a '********'.]
"Wait I didn't hear that clearly-all I head was a beep sound, repeat it."
[Host is not qualified to learn the name yet. That title or name holds so much power it can obliterate anything that is there is to exist. So, if you hear it, you will be reduced to atoms- but you will learn the name after you become powerful.]
Tyler almost choked hearing this while eating. Cold sweat dripped from Tyler's back, he doesn't know whether to laugh or cry- He has become something awesome but he is not allowed to learn the name yet.
'Sign.'
"Then why bother saying it- if all I will hear is a beep sound…"
Tyler finished his breakfast, then started doing his dishes in the sink and continued to ask the question.
"The thing I don't get is that- will I be the only one to learn the name? But it is a waste if others are not allowed to learn about it, there will be no meaning for its
existence in the first place."
[No, others are allowed to learn of the title only if the host permits them. But they are not allowed to share it to others or else they will pay for their action.]
"So, I am the only one who can give permission, for that to happen I should first know the name goddammit." Tyler was annoyed, so he decided to become a powerful first. But Tyler doesn't have any idea how to become powerful, he didn't bother to ponder about it because for god sake he has a self-proclaimed omnipotent system.
[Host should remember there are some deities out there who already know of the title.]
"That's good to hear." Tyler is happy because it would be awkward to be the only one to know of the name out there and dammm-becoming powerful means I will be like a god or something higher for having a title like that.
"Hahahahaha…" Just as Tyler was laughing heartily, a thought crossed his mind like lightning.
"System you told some deities out there means, those being are like not earth right? Like different worlds or realm?"
[System should say host didn't waste his time reading those novels or watching series. What host told was correct. As system expected due to these host knowing of fantasy stories, the host is better at accepting reality.]
"Nice nice…hahahahahaha" Tyler is jumping in excitement because if there is a different world that means he can also have a chance to visit those worlds.
"So, tell me fast what is the first step, what should I do first?" Tyler can't wait because different worlds, these two worlds are enough to make his blood boiling.
[Host should first leave behind his present life- the journey you are going to take is a long one, long in the sense… it's not a matter of decades, it is much longer. The present will be your memories which will be your past. In future, if you have a chance to return, it will be in a faraway future. So, all that will remain is memories and knowledge in the passage of time.]
Tyler was sad but he knows that to gain something, we should let go of things in return.
"System can you give me some time." Tyler was arranging his thoughts and was deciding the things he is going to do next.
[Yes.]
Tyler understood what the system is pointing at. For him to return to earth in faraway future means- he will leave earth for good and even if he gets a chance to return, no one he knew will exist. So, he wants to spend some time in the world he grew up in and he will surely cherish these memories.
If life gives you two choices to choose. The first one is to be a human, who will live a normal life and die at 70 or 80. The second one is becoming someone powerful and your life span will increase, basically, you will never age the same as the male leads in those novels.
Even if anyone was in his place, they would take the same decision. But compared to others Tyler doesn't have any family members or relatives- so for him, he can decide fast. Even if he has friends, at a certain point they will have their own lives to take care off and they will have to go separate ways.
For Tyler, he is taking his own life choice a lot faster compared to others. Just from his thought process, we can see he is a lot more mature for his age.
After organising his thoughts, he decides to take his time until the end of holidays- which is around 2 weeks.
When Tyler checked the time it was already noon, so he decides to eat out because it is obviously his birthday.
Just when he was about to lock his door- he got a call.
'Sister Anna' that was the name on the screen. When he checked out who was calling a big smile appeared in his face. He picks up the call.
"Hello."
"Happy birthday Tyler!!!" A sweet voice could be heard from the other side.
"Thank you, sister Anna."
Tyler became genuinely happy.
"Wait I will give it to sister Jessica, hold on" After a small pause from the other side, Tyler heard another voice.
"Happy birthday Tyler!!!"
"Thank you, sister Jessica."
Every year he will always get his wishes from these two people. They are the ones who raised him up in the orphanage. The orphanage is being run by the church. They both were nun over there, he was close to these two sisters compared to other sisters.
They continued to talk for a couple of minutes.
"If you have time, visit us." Told sister Anna.
"Sure."
"I won't waste your time anymore, enjoy your birthday Tyler." After saying goodbye, they hung up.
Tyler found his way to a good restaurant and decided to have a blast today.
