Capítulo 128: "Not on the list"

Lia arrived at the D.M. Cadre Research Facility after two and a half hours. Her luggage bag was immediately placed in Dr. Logan's expensive black e-car which they would use later on.

"Lia!!!" Her colleague and friend Gem rushed towards her, pulling her own luggage bag.

"Gem! Good day-" Lia was surprised to see Gem pull her big wheeled bag. She asked her, "Was your contract terminated too? Did you move out?"

"Oh no, I forgot to send you a message! My mind was a bit preoccupied with the upcoming trip," she said with a bright smile, "The truth is… I'm coming to SSK with my cute little mutant!"

"Gem… You…" Lia furrowed her eyebrows. She didn't expect Gem to come with them, and if she's coming, she would have to think of a way to protect her. 

"Lia, don't be sad! I'll come back after my mutant's test!" Gem told her, unaware of Lia's worries.
