It kept ringing and ringing inside her ears making her heart clench in discomfort and an uneasy feeling. She was definitely sad and in pain but the emotions she just felt were much more heavier and painful than she had felt ever. The feeling of losing someone precious to you. This was what had happened ever since she heard the nurse say about Ryan wanting to jump off the building. 

She was angry with the way the nurse had left her hanging with worries and heavy tension with her words. She sighs as she looks at Ryan who was peacefully sleeping making Lauren even more impatient. She takes a deep breath as she tightens her hold over his hands while her mind still played the words from the nurse earlier.
