Capítulo 151: No mercy

I regret ever thinking about how this day could get any worse. I wanted to bang my head hard against a wall and fall into a deep slumber and never wake up. 

That was too tempting to try. With my thoughts going back to X kissing me, I pulled the covers over my head. I wanted to scream but I can't freely do so. I was locked inside the room and I did not want to cause any harm, especially to little Enzo. I am well-versed in the fact that babies are sensitive to sounds. Even though my scream would probably be muffled by the walls, I did not want to risk being heard.

"Dang it, Ava," I muttered, gritting my teeth. I was out of sleep but for some reason, I can't even close my eyes. My body felt so tired but my mind was in hyperactive drive. There was no way that lying down would let me fall asleep anytime soon. I think nothing else can make me fall asleep at the moment. There was just no way.
