Location: Mandalorian Sector Command Room
Shortly, after Plo-Koon left the room the other sat in silence and looked at Diesel. They awaited what they would do next. Most knew they would receive a report soon from the forces currently at Rishi Station.
"Ri'lah, How soon is the report expected to be in." Diesel voice was cold and chilling.
"According to the information I would imagine....It's here." Walking up to the table Ri'lah clicked a few buttons and then connected his wrist directly to the table.
"The defense of Rishi Station ended in success. However, the capture of the Separatist vessels ended up in failure. All 95 Mandalorian who took part in the capture are dead. They waited for everyone to board and fire upon their own cruisers. I don't know the exact details but it sounded like they disabled the weapons and propulsion systems..."
*BOOM* An extremely loud sound crackled throughout the room, the table broke right down the middle collapsing on the insides. The legs were completely destroyed on one side of the table leaving a downwards slope towards the source of the crackle. Everyone immediately turned towards the source and slightly trembled. Even the normal calm Ri'lah took a step back in order to prevent intruding in the space. Bo-Katan who was on the other side of the Hologram frowned and looked slightly downcasted at her and her companions' failure.
The only people who didn't budge were the other Spartans (Dom/Sophia) and Rayath who still stood near Diesel. This time it was Rayath's turn to place a hand on Diesel's shoulder. "Please continue the report.
Before Bo could continue though there was yelling and slamming on the door of the room. The guard outside heard Diesel destroying the desk. "Everything is fine return to your post." Rayath again motioned for Bo to continue."
"The battle of the ground resulted in zero casualties and three of the five clones on the base lived along with the two inspectors so everything in that part worked out exactly as planned." Bo hesitated for a moment. "Sir, If I may."
Diesel nodded knowing she was referring to him in this instance. "I believe we had an information leak." Everyone in the room knew what this meant. The only people in the room who knew about the attack were them and Master Plo-Koon. It was impossible for any of them to leave the room at a given point and tip the Separatist off so the culprit who was the information leak had to be Master Plo-Koon. Even Ri'lah was caught by surprise by this; he never would have thought the Jedi would sell him out. Unless...
"I don't believe it was Master Plo-Koon; he seemed generally concerned and surprised by the attack on Rishi Station." Before Ri'lah could continue his train of thought Dith spoke up with a slightly raised and offended voice.
"Are you saying someone in this room tipped off the Separatist!" Ri'lah shot Dith a glare before speaking.
"No. Remember what the Master Plo-Koon said. He was going to inform the Jedi." A sudden realization appeared on some of the people's faces. If they could get to the bottom of who he told they could narrow out the traitor.
"Why don't we use the traitor and strike a big blow to the Separatist. Rayath, I'm giving you a mission. You are to head to the planet of Coruscant and provide false information to the Jedi. Weinz you will take a squad and meet up with Bo to create an ambush point. The fleet will be on standby outside of the system in case a fleet shows up."
Everyone received their orders and left the room except for Rayath. "Master, are you sure this is the wisest way? Revenge is one of the ways to fall to the Dark Side."
"Ray the Dark Side will only consume you if you allow it. I might not know much of the way of the Force, However, willpower and hope is the strongest thing any sort of person can have. Even if I personally don't have a right to say that."
"Diesel?" Rayath grew confused. She didn't understand what Diesel meant.
"The Jedi and Spartans aren't all that much different."
