Capítulo 117: CXVII. Stardust.

The blue star — which looked three times bigger than the sun as it would be seen from earth, began to be engulfed by a layer of gas and fume of the same burning sky color as it absorbed matter and energy from her tinier red companion, with both being linked by a purple wire of light and dust. 

Their dazzle, despite being stronger than the one that the sun used to wash earth with, didn't hurt or make the soft retinas of anyone there shut down or even feel tired. 

"What's happening?" Cookie asked. Despite the blinding light, the way the tidal forces of both stars shook with violence could be seen in the form of a strong, yet still vibration between both. They rotated in opposite directions, although that was not an observable detail from their distance of a whole solar system.
