After putting a custom-made Eraserhead shirt and a pair of jeans, I waited an hour before heading toward U.A. because I didn't need to be present for the written exam.
After that, I took my car, and drove to U.A. The government had given me a driver licence even though I wasn't technically an adult because I often needed it and it was simpler than getting me a driver.
Also, yeah, I had made several custom-made Eraserhead shirts just to mess with him a bit, and honestly, it was worth it every time I saw his reaction when he saw me with one. And since U.A. didn't really have a dress code for teachers, most of them taught in their hero costume, so I could wear whatever I want.
While driving, I thought what I had said to Kyotaka and the clue I had given her. Maybe it would be a mistake to reveal my identity to her but I didn't really care anymore, I was more than powerful enough to deal with whatever they would throw at me. Also, the only reason I didn't outright tell her my identity was to see her reaction when she would figure it out.
After a few more minutes of driving the luxurious car the police had provided me, I arrived and made my way toward the teacher's lounge.
As I walked toward the restricted section, where students couldn't go, someone shouted at me:
"Hey you, with the t-shirt!"
I turned around and and saw a relatively tall and quite muscular teen staring at me. He had dark blue hair and a serious look on his face. He reminded me of someone so I used Quirk Vision and learned that his quirk was Engine. I realized that he was probably Ingenium's little brother, Tenya Iida. I had worked with Ingenium a couple of times and he was a pretty nice and laid-back guy and one of the only heroes that respected Vigilantes. Apparently, his brother wasn't as relaxed and pleasant as him.
Once he saw that I turned around, Tenya spoke again. There was now a little crowd of students watching the interaction.
"What are you doing, this is clearly the restricted part of U.A., only teachers and other staff members are allowed here. And are you even taking this exam seriously, this is the top school of the nation, only elites are accepted. What a disgrace…"
I was surprised by the passive-aggressive tone, did he have a stick up his a*s or something? Still, I didn't want to cause a scene so I just took out my U.A. teacher pass from my pocket and told him:
"I'm a teacher here. Now would you kindly let me go, I have somewhere to be."
When he heard and saw, on my pass, that I was a teacher, his face immediately paled and became as white as snow before he blushed as red as a tomato and he murmured a "Sorry" before leaving and walking away very fast.
After that incident, I continued to stroll toward the teacher's lounge. Once I arrived and was about to take a seat, it was only for Nezu, the principal, to say to me:
"Don't get too comfortable, you'll have to leave soon. Since Present Mic isn't the really the best to explain and his attempt to raise the spirits of the candidates always fail miserably, you'll explain the rules of the exam".
I sighed before replying:
"Ok, but I can guarantee that I won't be able to make their blood boil and all that crap. I can explain fine, though."
Honestly, this wasn't bad for me, I would be able to get a good look at this year's candidate and their quirk, so it didn't really bother me that I would explain the rules. I suspect that it's the reason why I'll be explaining in the first place.
I waited two or three minutes, so that all examinee would arrive and go inside the auditorium before heading there myself, on the podium.
Fortunately, I didn't have to call for silence as it was already dead silent, you could feel the tension and anxiety of thousands of teens.
I took the mic and started explaining.
"Welcome to U.A.! I'm going to be explaining the rules of the exam. If you have any questions or comments, wait until I finish explaining, don't interrupt me.
"For this practical exam, you'll be experiencing a ten-minute-long "Mock Cityscape Maneuvers". In short, you're going to be assigned a testing location, a mock city, and you will be fighting against faux villains. You can bring and use whatever you want."
"There are three types of faux villain that will give you points. There are the 1-pointers, 2-pointers, and 3-pointers. Your goal is to destroy as many as them as possible in ten minutes to gather the most points you can. You can and should use your quirks or other support items to destroy the faux villains, this is a hero school after all."
"There is also an extra faux villain, the 0-pointer. There will be one 0-pointers per zone and consider it an obstacle. It will not give you any points if you destroy it."
"Any questions?"
"How do we know which is our testing location?" Someone asked.
"Good question, examinee 2314, look inside your pamphlet, page 2."
"Any other questions?"
After a moment of silence, no hands were raised and no one spoke, I assumed no one had questions or they were too shy to ask them. Not my problem.
"Good then. Do your best and go Plus Ultra. You can go to your test site, the test will begin soon."
Of course, while I was explaining, I had used Quirk Vision to know the quirk of every single examinee . Photographic Memory made it so that I would remember them perfectly and there were a lot of powerful quirks this year, including All Might's. It was going to be an interesting year, there would be Kyotaka, Endeavor's son (Shoto), Neito, All Might's successor, a guy with an incredibly powerful brainwashing quirk, someone that could make explosions a sentient quirk, which I found incredibly interesting and other powerful quirks.
Sentient quirks had always fascinated me, as the fact that a quirk, a mutation, could be alive and constant to the point of sentience was incredible.
After my explanation if the rule of the exam, I made my way back into the teacher's lounge to watch the exam, I wanted to know how well Kyotaka would fare.
When I arrived, before I could even get seated, Nezu asked me:
"So, how are the students this year? Are there any interesting ones? Anyone with good potential?"
"Well, do you want me to tell you all 9421 quirks that I saw or only the ones that got my attention?" I replied to him, smiling. I was messing with him.
"Yes, I don't think we have time for the 9421 students with quirks, so just tell me the good ones."
"Well, I'm sure you know them already but the other teachers probably don't so you should all listen. They will possibly go into your classes." All the teachers started to listen when I said that.
"There is someone with the most powerful sound quirk I ever saw, it gives the ability to control sound. It only restriction is that it requires and motions. Another one can create explosions from his palm. There is my cousin as well, he can copy quirks. One with an extremely powerful brainwashing quirk…"
For the next minutes before the exam, I described all quirks that had gotten my attention, not just the strong ones, while we were waiting for the exam to start.
Finally, Present Mic shouted:
"AND…BEGIN!"
Cannon Started! And I already made a couple of changes!.
I have a question for y’all, do you want Kyotaka in 1-A or 1-B. I was going to put her into 1-A, but if you really want her into 1-B for whatever reason, it could be done.
If she goes into 1-A, Ojiro will be put into 1-B and someone from 1-B will be erased.
And no, Mineta won’t be erased from the universe but I have a kinda Mineta redemption arc planned, cause the MC certainly won’t let a pervert like Mineta off the hook, especially if Kyotaka goes into 1-A.
