Two Years Later
A boy, looking like he was around 8 years old, with bright blue eyes and unruly black hair could be seen sparring against a muscular man looking like a bigger version of himself.
The boy was obviously not winning the spar, but it was close. The only reason it wasn't even closer was that he was too small and lacked power, but the power he lacked, he tried to replace it with technique.
As the boy, using is excellent flexibility, delivered a high kick to his opponent, the man simply took his leg and tried to throw him on the ground, but the kid was quick to react, he used his other leg and wrapped it around the adult's neck. Sadly, it didn't work as the man was simply too strong.
After the failed attempt to make a leg lock, the man said:
"Good, you're improving unbelievably fast, son. Continue like that and you'll be able to defeat me in no time! Also, I have news for you, today will be one of our last session, I don't think I'm the best teacher anymore for you. I'll call a friend of mine and see if he can train you. He's a retired pro-hero and I'm sure he'll be able to make you one of the most powerful hand-to-hand fighter there is."
"Thank you Dad! Give me a year, and I'll wipe the floor with you. And what was his Hero name, I'm curious. And his quirk."
"Well, he's quirkless now, he lost his quirk, though I don't know the details. It may be a sensitive subject so…"
A/N: Anyone can guess who I'm talking about?
The two that were sparring, and that are now talking, were, of course, Raiko and his father. Also, Raiko was not eight years old, but only six, but the Accelerated Growth quirk did what it was supposed to do, and he looked older than he really was. Today was his sixth birthday and, in the last two years, Raiko had learned a lot of quirks.
He gained 3285 quirks levels (AP) in those two years, but spent the majority, almost all of them on useful, but non-fighting quirks as the good fighting quirks were extremely expensive. He focused a bit on intelligence quirks, as he spent more than half of his quirk levels on them. He had:
Intelligence Booster (1134) , a quirk which made him extremely intelligent.
Photographic Memory (430), a quirk that gave him a photographic memory
Speed Learning (512), a quirk that made him learn everything much faster
Those three quirks made him another kind of genius, as he skipped three grades – he was only six but was in the same classes as the nine-year-old. The rest of the quirks he bought were "Utility Quirks" like:
Emotional control (255), a quirk that can suppress or had emotion to the user by tricking the user's brain. Very useful to remove stress, embarrassment, guilt, panic or to be a very convincing actor. It's like a brainwashing quirk, but only on himself.
Sleepless (523), a quirk that reduces the amount a sleeps he needs. It's basically regeneration quirk on the brain.
And the last quirk he bought:
Inhuman Flexibility (245), which gave him a better flexibility than Olympic gymnast, in fact, it gave him a better flexibility than it should be humanly possible.
During those years, he continued to improve his mother's quirk, Quirk Vision, and he was now able to identify quirks by "looking" at them, but it took him a minute or two.
Also, he learned more about his own quirk. He discovered that he couldn't buy the same quirk twice. For example, he couldn't buy another "Speed Learning", but he could improve quirks he had, except his original one. The problem was that it cost exponentially more. For example, he tried to buy a quirk that would give him no need to sleep, but it cost more than 1500 AP, but with Sleepless, which "only" costs 523, he only needs to sleep twelve hours a week.
One more thing that he learned is that he was only able to buy quirks that affected himself. For example, he wouldn't be able to buy a quirk like Eraserhead's because it affected others. The same with Recovery Girl's quirk. Although a quirk like Endeavor's or All Might he could buy, because it only directly affected the user.
A/N: I'm not sure if you are all understanding what I'm trying to say, but this is so he can't just buy a shit-ton of quirk suppressing quirks and brainwashing quirks. It would make him wayyyy too op wayyy too fast. He will still be VERY overpowered when he enters UA.
Raiko had only started to train a year ago, but he was learning at an impossibly fast pace, thanks to all his intelligence quirks and his natural talent. He was naturally very intelligent, but combined with his quirks, it wasn't fair anymore.
But there was a reason he started to train madly a year ago….
Flashback 1 years ago
Raiko's POV
Today was my fifth birthday! My parents and I went to the restaurant to celebrate. Since I awakened, last year, I gained 1460 quirk levels, that I used on two quirks. An intelligence booster and a quirk to control my emotions.
It was a very fun birthday, but as I was walking with my parents, returning from the restaurant, everything turned dark for a couple a seconds before I lost consciousness.
When I woke up, I was in a dark very small room, tied. As I started panicking, I quickly used one of my quirks, Emotionnal Control, which allowed me to control my emotions, to calm down and think about my situation.
I realized that I wasn't in a room, but in the trunk of a car with a very bad driver and I had probably been captured, but why? Could they have learned of my ability to create quirks? Probably not, they would have used another way to kidnap me if they knew. Maybe they wanted to use me as leverage against my parents? That was possible. Or maybe they wanted me to use Quirk Vision to help them. That was also possible, but I didn't know how to use Quirk Vision yet, although they probably did not know that.
But I was still in big trouble and even my all my intelligence quirk, I couldn't find a way out of my predicament. I was helpless, and I hated it. The kidnappers were a minimum careful, they had taken my phone and other electronic devices and tied me up.
But there was still hope, my mom had put a tracker inside my clothes in case something like that happened, so I just needed to wait and heroes were going to save me…Probably…
As time passed, I was starting to feel insecure and panicked once again. Fortunately, I wasn't claustrophobic, but there was a limit to my emotional control quirk, and being alone, tied, in the trunk of a car for what felt like hours was an exactly pleasant experience.
I was beginning to panic again, I suddenly heard shouts, and the car I was abruptly stopped, causing me to violently slam against it
A couple of seconds later, the trunk of the car opened and my mom quickly ran toward me and took me in her arms, hugging me tightly.
As I struggled to breathe, crushed by my mother, I could see a relatively new hero, Edgeshot, talking to my father. They both had a frown on their face and I could deduce that they were talking about my kidnappers. The police was also here, taking the villains to prison probably. They then questioned me about what happened and they were surprised by how calm I was.
Although, my mother was the opposite of calm. After much crying and hugging from her, I learned that the hero were after my dad's quirk to heal their leader, and that was why they kidnapped me.
Since that day, I decided that I would no longer be helpless.
That was why Raiko decided to train like a madman.
