"Wow! Vincent designed them? How is that possible?" Stephanie asked in astonishment.

"What later happened to the ones he designed? Did he lose them?" Stephanie asked anxiously. She could not wait to hear the full story about the hairpin and bracelet.

"Everyone believed that he lost them but it is only I that knows what actually happened to the hairpin and bracelet," Gabrielle said staring at Stephanie's curious expression.

"When I overheard him arguing with our butler after lying to my mum and dad that he lost her birthday present, I had confronted him to know what the truth was. After much coaxing, he narrated everything to me without missing any details," Gabrielle said smiling when she recalled just how much she had pestered him before he revealed the truth to her.

"Gab, stop beating around the bush and just tell me what happened. The suspense is killing me," Stephanie said as she quickly placed Gabrielle's hand in hers.
