Chloe's POV

It goes without saying that I was pressing my ear to the door and paying attention to all the commotion that was going on the other side of this door. I heard shattering of glasses and heavy wind blowing. I could make out the conversation that was taking place, and I had to say this, but I was impressed by how Margaret was handling it. I would never have done it. Hurting someone on purpose, even if it was someone who killed me, seemed a bit hard for me.

After a moment I heard a gagging sound. That sound was familiar to me, it was not of my sister, but it belonged to Margaret. What happened? She told me to stay outside, but I was having second thoughts right now. Should I go and check?
