Capítulo 70: Strange Artefact

Narrator's POV.

The man walked with a steady state. To an onlooker it would appear as if he was having a day just like any other. But he was furious from the inside. After having worked so hard for months on this project, how could his father assign someone new on it just because he was more experienced than him? He put his blood sweat and tears for it, because he wanted to prove his self worth, only to be taken away from him like this.

He was busy in his own thoughts when the telephone in his office rang. 

"VP Langston speaking" he answered in a serious tone. 

"Just wanted to let you know that manager Stanford rejoined today, since you were looking for her that day. Do you want me to send her?" His assistant Ms Greene asked him.

"Sure". He replied with the same unbothered tone.
