Capítulo 13: C13 The Kings Announcement

(A/N: Second chapter of the day like I promised. It's a little shorter, but I hope you enjoy! 😉
Weeks into my normal routine and my Souei clone spy network has started branching out of the city. The orphans have already been recruited, but it's going to be a while before they're ready for action. That's fine though because I want to train them up from a young age. If I wanted the order to be ready sooner, I would simply take in the homeless or something. The way I'm doing it now seems more interesting though.
My father hasn't done anything about the sour half of the family, but today may be the day something interesting happens. My father said he has an announcement, and sent for the heads of every noble house. Of course, my mom and I will be there along with the Queen and my dear brother. Throughout the whole day carriage upon carriage drove into the palace. Once every noble was settled in my father called them and us to the throne room. My mother and I make our way into the throne room and are announced by a servant.
"Announcing his highness the second Prince Syrin Fortis, and Royal Consort Astrid Fortis." He announces from beside the door.
We seem to be the last to arrive. The throne room is huge with tall pillars holding up a domed ceiling. The ceiling is similar to the Sistine Chapel back on earth. The many different depictions of this world's gods are painted onto the ceiling. A red carpet stretches through the center of the room from the doors to the throne. The throne itself is made of marble with red cushions and is elevated slightly off the ground. The room is filled with nobles on either side of the carpet. The highest-ranking nobles are closer to the throne. My father is seated on the throne with the sour half of the family stood beside him on his right. My mother and I move across the carpet, as the nobles bow to us as we pass them. We take our place to the left of my father, and he stands from the throne.
"Thank you all for answering my summons so quickly. I would like to make an announcement that will heavily affect the future of this kingdom. A future which I think will be brighter because of this decision." The king says. Everyone in the room looks very interested to hear this decision of his. "You all know my eldest son, Alexander is the crowned prince and therefore the heir to my throne." This received a round of nods from the crowd. "Well, it's best to state this plainly. I'm revoking Alexander's heirship and title of crowned prince as of this moment." He states and the room bursts into noise. Every noble in the room is voicing their opinion at once.
The factions were showing like never before. My faction agrees, my brother's faction disagrees, and the king's faction nods their heads because this is a decision of the king so they will follow it. The Queen and my brother looked shocked and furious, to say the least. As the room grows louder and louder with the opinions of the nobles, the guards slam their swords and shield together to quiet everyone down.
"No matter if you agree with this situation or you don't, none of you will change my mind." The king says. The Queen looks like she wants to scream, and her son looks like he's going to pop a blood vessel.
"Your Majesty, if I may speak?" My servant Gregory asks.
"Yes, you may." The king says.
"Will you be naming the new heir to the throne today as well?" Gregory asked with a hopeful smile.
"Yes, this brings me to the second part of the announcement." He says, drawing everyone's attention. "I will be naming my second son, Syrin Fortis as my new heir and crowned prince of the Fortis kingdom."
