Capítulo 60: 2754 He's a Grandmaster, She's a Grandmaster, They're all Grandmasters
Authors Note ( I'm changing supreme master to transcendence master. I think that sounds cooler. Shout out to TheSniperInsurgency on discord for giving me the idea. When the audience and fighters heard this an awkward silence filled the stadium. After a couple seconds roaring laughter was heard from all the VIP rooms and those on the battle floor. How can seven insignificant characters just barge in here like they own the place and demand a fight.
After the laughter died down a robust young man walked up to Shi Feng and the rest.
"Yeah teach him a lesson Fan Wei!"
"Give us a good show!"
"Kick him out, so we can get back to the tournament!"
This person is Fan Wei and he is already in the top five of the tournament. He was trained by the Ling family, one of the five great martial arts families and is a half step grandmaster.
When he arrived, Fan Wei's imposing figure loomed over Shi Feng.
"Hall Master Shi, I'll take you up on your challenge. Let's go!" Fan Wei threw an abrupt punch at Shi Feng. This punch was so powerful that it could rival a grandmaster's. When the audience saw this they were stunned, it was clear that Fan Wei had been holding back in his previous fights, but what happened next left them speechless. Shi Feng hadn't moved at all and still remained calmed as Fan Wei's fist was held by someone right in front of his face.
"You're not even a warm up for the Hall Master. Why don't you fight me instead." Lei Bo had stopped Fan Wei and then released his frightening aura.
As Fan Wei felt this he started to sweat. Ever since he had become a half step grandmaster, he had challenged full fledge grandmasters and while he never won he always put up a good fight, and even if Shi Feng is a grandmaster, he should be much weaker than the average grandmaster considering his age, but against Lei Bo he knew he couldn't even last three moves.
Right now he was trying to pull his fist away from Lei Bo's grip but it wouldn't budge. Then Lei Bo slightly spun his wrist and applied pressure to a few nerves on Fan Wei's hand. This caused Fan Wei to grunt in pain as he slowly fell to his knees almost paralyzed. Lei Bo then pulled Fan Wei towards him, let go of his hand then released a palm strike to Fan Wei's chest. Fan Wei flew a couple meters as he coughed out blood and fell unconscious. For a time the whole stadium became silent.
"Oh my god he is a grandmaster!"
"That's impossible! How can Heaven Rumble nurture another grand master?"
Many people were confused, as far as they knew Shi Feng was the only grandmaster in Heaven Rumble, and while they had a few internal force experts it didn't warrant any attention from these top tier martial arts families and corporations.
"So they managed to gain another grandmaster. This makes things difficult," Fang Zhangwang said, rubbing his beard. The only reason the Fang family could suppress Zero Wing in Fengling city was because they had two grandmasters. Now that Zero Wing has the same number, the other businesses will refuse to suppress the workshop, not wanting to offend them. +
Shi Feng spoke into the mic again.
"As I said we've come here for a fight, so please send capable people." This immediately angered the Ling family. Fan Wei was one of their best prodigies, and now Shi Feng implied he wasn't worthy. After a moment eight older looking men walked to the battle ground, these were the organizers that belonged to the different families. Everyone of them released a calming aura that attracted a person to them, you can tell they had years of combat experience with a glance.
"Young man, this here is a sacred tradition that has happened for many centuries. I ask that you honor it and leave. We will overlook what happened here today." The lead man said.
"You talk about honor, but you can't even honor us with a decent fight. How laughable," Shi Feng joked, not caring for these old men.
"Old Xu, this brat clearly has no respect. Why don't we give him what he wants!" Old Ling the Ling family's patriarch growled. When Fan Wei got defeated like that it had humiliated the Ling family. Now he has to get their honor back. 1
"Old Ling calm down. They are just youths," Old Xu said
"No! I'll show them the consequences of their actions!"
Old Ling then began to move. His footwork was amazing as it looked like he teleported from place to place towards Shi Feng's group. Even an amateur could tell he was a top tier grandmaster martial artist. Old Ling's target was Lei Bo, but the man in question didn't even bother to move confusing old Ling. Not worrying too much he executed a dragon kick launching himself at Lei Bo. The air around him trembled as he flew toward the man, but something astonishing happened.
A small girl had grabbed Old Ling's leg and while the man was in the middle of his kick, the girl twirled him around like a rag doll throwing him to an entrance. When Old Ling crashed into the door it had left a body size indent. The stadium was silent once more.
"How?! How can they possibly have another grandmaster!"
"Look how young she is. I don't think she is even 25 yet."
The whole stadium went into an uproar because the person who just tossed Old Ling was Yu Qiaoqiao, also known as Fire Dance. It was clear that she was a grandmaster as well, and a powerful one at that.
"Amazing." Old Xu was stunned. He had heard about Shi Feng and had interest in him, afterall Shi Feng is the youngest grandmaster in the nearly a century, that's why he had wanted to let the matter slide. But now another one had appeared.
"Don't get so full of yourself. Everyone attack! The Ling Family will reward those who bring me their beaten bodies!" Old Ling yelled.
"Old Ling don't go so far!" Old Xu countered but it was useless. After Old Ling said that, it had riled up these hot blooded youths. While none of them were grandmasters, they were all peak internal force users and easily outnumbered Shi Feng's group. With a battle cry they all charged at them, but again the next scene that occurred left the stadium silent. Fire Dance, Shadow Sword, Silent Blade, and Cola all swept through the crowd as if they were insects and easily beat down the incoming fighters.
It was clear that all of them were grandmasters as well and the display of strength they showed made other feel helpless, the contestants didn't even stand a chance.
As these family leaders watched their disciples get decimated, they couldn't retain their rage. Even Old Fang joined in on the fight, but the six of them were intercepted by Lei Bo and Lee Jun and the two of them knocked down the old men on their asses. In less than one minute only Shi Feng's squad and Old Xu were standing, while everyone else was knocked unconscious, or reeling in pain, even the seven grandmasters.
Shi Feng had to admit that the realms of truth were amazing. Fire and the others had only became grandmasters recently, but their strength were incredible thanks to being able to apply combat techniques in the real world.
"Hall Master Shi always gives a good surprise." Ha Yifeng who was up in a VVIP room watched the ongoing situation with interest.
"Young master Han, that was young man is impressive but his actions has brought too much attention," the butler added.
"Maybe that's exactly what Hall Master Shi wants. Let's go, there's no reason to be here anymore." Han Yifeng smiled then got up and left.
Up in the VIP room that belonged to the Fang family, everyone started sweating. They had been messing with Zero Wing all this time, but now the workshop has seven grandmasters in it. If they decided to strike at them the Fang family would be done for. +
As for Fang Shihan she couldn't stop looking at Shi Feng. While seven grandmasters were amazing, she felt an indescribable sense of danger from the man. Almost like a dragon that was losing its chains.
While the stadium remained silent Old Xu started to laugh. The sound of his laughter filled the whole stadium.
"In all my time as the organizer of this, I have never been so entertained, and for that I thank you. But because you have caused a ruckus here I can't let you go so easily. I hope you understand."
Old Xu then released his aura and like a lion that escaped its cage, it was frightening.
"So the rumors are true,it seems he touched upon that level."
"Incredible, so this is what a transcendence master is like"
Everyone was at awe at Old Xu's strength. While they all knew he wasn't a transcendence master, he was the closest thing they've seen to one.
"Hall Master, this guy will be a tough one. Do you want help?" Lei Bo asked.
"Little Bo, Hall master has this. Go show them what your made of Hall Master!" Lee Jun encouraged.
Shi Feng gave a calm smile and slowly walked up to Old Xu. Right now he was insanely excited. On the flight over here, he had talked to Lee Jun about what happened after his headache calmed down. She had told him that while the headaches weren't normal, his new perception of the world is a sign that he was close to becoming a transcendence master and he is at the door to the new world. Shi Feng can finally test out his strength against another half step transcendence master.
"Hm I knew you wouldn't disappoint. Now show me your moves! Young man"Old Xu then launched his fist at Shi Feng, he to is excited. It's been a long time since he felt such a powerful presence from someone. He was old and maybe a good fight might allow him to break trough. +
"Come!" Shi Feng then launched his attack. When the two fist collided, an explosion sound shook the entire stadium.
