Capítulo 95: Chapter 21

Wishing everything he had just experienced was nothing but some form of sour dream, Vukan laid where he was, feeling his back ache less and his wounds suddenly feeling much better. To cap it all off, the surface upon which he laid, wasn't as hard as those of the front porch where his last memory had pictured. 

More so, something pressed against his face, and around his cheeks most especially, before peeling away intermittently. 

"Vukan…. Vukan", the voice called out in a tender manner. 

Vukan peeled his eyes open and ground his teeth as he looked at Lee whose face was pressed against his and whose breath he could perceive and feel on his cheeks. She leaned over some more and connected her lips with his cheek before dragging them down towards his lips. 

"I love you, Vukan… I love you and I will do anything for you", she whispered tenderly.
