Capítulo 128: February 14, 2021: Agreement

To avoid fumbling on her words, Syn took off the gaze that she had on Konrad. She then closed her eyes as she drew in just enough breath to keep her brain working. She knew that the man wouldn't make the negotiation easy for her. After all, the terms that she was about to serve were consequential at best. 

As of the moment, she had no time to be frozen by indecision. If she fails to get what she wanted, there would be no other chances that she could exploit. Whatever the reason might be for her to be hasty, the one that ultimately changed her heart was her desire to get out of the circumstances she was in. Although it was a bit uncanny that she's just realizing it now, the difficulty of her situation was taking a toll on her. And there was another reason -- one that she had no intention of revealing to anybody else other than herself.
