Capítulo 37: Wife taking care of his food

After getting ready, Li Jie held his suitcases and made his way downstairs. He could hear voices of xiaoxi, Aunt Gu.

"Aunt Gu, you can go and sleep. I will manage"-said xiaoxi.

"but young madam, you have already cooked. Let me at least clean."

"aunt Gu, I can do this cleaning. I am not sleepy anymore. It's not good for your health to work too much. Listen to me please and call me xiaoxi."

Helplessly shaking her head, Aunt Gu nodded her head and came out of the kitchen and saw Li Jie standing there with both his hands inside his pockets.

Smiling at her, Li jie made his way into the kitchen to look at what his wife was doing

Aunt Gu who saw Li Ji entering the kitchen smiled, she was really happy for Li Jie. She had seen him grown up. she was not only a caretaker, but she was the one who took care of them like their mother in their childhood when Mother Li and Father Li were busy. She was equally heartbroken for him when he became all cold and only involved himself in the work when his past love deceived him. Now looking at the new couple, she knew that they both are made for each other.

Inside the kitchen:

Looking at his wife, doing the dishes with an apron on, he sighed leaning at the door. It has been so long that someone prepared breakfast and sent him off. It always was aunt Gu who would wake up early, make him breakfast. He declined her many times saying that he would eat out and it was not good for her health. But she never listened. She always woke up and made sure he has eaten before going out. After he moved out, there was no one to take care of his eating habits but now things have changed.

Smiling at her, he made his way towards her and hugged her from behind making her body stiff like a statue.

Xiaoxi who was washing dishes was shocked by his sudden hug and turned her head sideways to look at him. Blushing she asked him "are you all done?"

When he nodded his head, she washer hands and said "go and sit on the table, I made breakfast for you. I will get them"

Smiling at her, he tightened his arms before lifting her up and bringing her to the table.

"Li Jie, what are you doing?"- questioned xiaoxi when he lifted her up in the air.

"baby, you woke up early to make breakfast for me, you take rest now. Let me get the dishes to the table. Okay?"- saying this Li Jie folded his shirt and made his way back into the kitchen to bring the breakfast.

Looking at his back, she smiled before sitting on the table. She has always seen him only in his suits and in his sleep wear. Now this man, didn't have his upper layer on, he only had white shirt and black trousers which made him look more taller than he actually was. There is only one word for him "perfection".

After Li jie bought out the dishes, he sat beside her before passing her a bowl.

"Li Jie, I will eat later, I don't have the habit of eating this early."- said Xiaoxi.

Nodding at her, he allowed her to serve him the dishes. "you know you don't have to wake up early to cook for me, I can eat in the plane. Don't bother next time okay?"

Looking at him, she frowned, "you eat everything from outside when you are on your trip, at least when you are at home, I am trying to feed you something healthy. Why don't you want me to do that? Or is it that you didn't like them?"

Chuckling at her, he looked into her eyes before answering "I really like them. And I like it too when you personally cook for me. But I don't want you to take stress okay? You are having a break and will be returning soon to the shoots. Take rest alright?"

"there is no stress. And I like to cook for you so, where is the problem. Don't say no next time okay?"- she pouted.

Tapping on her nose, he nodded his head and started eating.

After having his breakfast, Li jie who stuffed himself again, got up and called his secretary yang.

Xiaoxi who went into the kitchen with the utensils, came out with a bag and passed it to Li jie who was on call. After the call, Li jie who held the bag looked at her and asked what was in the bag.

"oh, I just made some extra food for you to eat on plane. I heard it's your own flight. So, you won't have a problem taking them, right?"

"but there will be food on plane xiaoxi"

"I told you not to reject homemade food remember?"-asked xiaoxi.

Shaking his head, he was about to say something when yang entered into the living room with a briefcase.

"good morning boss, good morning madam"- greeted yang.

"xiaoxi, this is yang, my secretary and most trusted person of mine. While I am away, he will be here to look after you if you face any problems. I already texted his number to you. So, if you want anything you can call him without thinking much okay? Even regarding me."- he winked at her.

Blushing, she nodded her head before greeting yang "good morning secretary yang"

Bowing to her, yang turned towards Li jie "boss, everything is ready. everything is ready. We just have to stop by the office for small meeting and then you can leave directly from office."

Nodding at yang, Li jie turned towards xiaoxi. Yang left to wait outside giving the couple the privacy they need.

Looking at his wife, he pulled her into his embrace and hugged her tight.
