Capítulo 27: Fired
As soon as she heard her words, Changying's manager froze in her spot. After all she is not like Changying who is impulsive enough to spoil her image.
If she was not her manager, Changying is capable enough to lose all her fans in a mere second.
She already tried her best in order to not let people see her face in the shopping mall which would negatively impact her popularity. After all that she has done for her, Changying is here again to go face to face and create a scene in front of everyone and even showing her silly side to them.
One day Changying's stupidity will be the reason for her death. Just at the thought made her catch her head with a hand.
She then immediately regained her composure and turned towards Changying, "What happened again?"
Changying immediately pointed her finger at Shao Rong, "She is the one who made the Director scold me today."
Her manager turned towards Shao Rong who spoke softly, "Aunty, I just asked Sister Changying for an autograph and she started cursing me as Bitch and thief. She is accusing me of some other things too that I had yet to understand." She then pleaded with her, "Aunty, I know you are a good woman since you gave me that cute dress in the store from that scary sister. Please give me justice here too."
From Shao Rong's words all the people present understood that Manager He helped Shao Rong earlier hence she could have a good impression on her and everyone's expectations rose as she may solve this problem from Changying.
Before everyone breathed a sigh of relief they heard a screeching voice of Changying, "How dare you call me scary when you are the one who publicly stole my dress?"
Her words made everyone understand the issue immediately.
'Changying is actually holding a grudge on a little girl just for a dress.' That is the only thought that ran through everyone's minds.
The ironic thing is that no one noticed that it was Shao Rong who 'stole' the dress from Changying. They automatically blamed Changying because no one liked her while Shao Rong has a sweet spot in their hearts. After all, she is just a 'teenager' while Changying is an 'adult'.
Not a single soul thought otherwise.
Manager He understood that everyone is biased against Changying and are in support of Shao Rong so she decided to call quits about the issue as soon as possible.
This situation is nothing new for her. Only she knew how many times she apologised, begged, warned and even threatened others for the sake of Changying. She is just simply a troublemaker in her life.
Before she could speak a word, Shao Rong beat her to it, "Sister Changying, are you the one who fought with me for that cute dress earlier?" She widened her eyes as she was enlightened by a new revelation.
She stressed the word 'fought' that everyone automatically converted the word into 'bullied' in their minds.
Manager He understood that the situation was about to go out of hand and tried to soothe, "Miss, I guess there is a misunderstanding going on here. Let me clarify first."
Before she could continue her 'clarification' once again she was interrupted. But this time it was by her so called team mate Changying. "Why do you have to clarify anything to such a worthless girl? Anyway what on earth is she doing in this set?"
She continued her rage without allowing anyone to speak or even reply to her questions, "I don't care what she was doing. Just fire her immediately. I don't want this Bitch to saunter around me any further."
Her words caused gasps floating around in the air. She was being unbelievably unreasonable. Just a little fight over a simple dress and she is removing a person from her job.
Everyone standing around were almost crew members who depend on their jobs for their livelihood. So they know the value of a job for a person more than anyone like Changying. Hence their hate towards Changying increased by leaps and bounds from her words.
Shao Rong wiped her tears that just left her large eyes and tried very hard to speak the words, "Sister Changying, I don't work for you. How can you fire me? You can't do this to me."
Changying immediately snorted at her words, "Huh. If I say that I wouldn't work if you are not fired, what do you think will happen to you? Who will anyone prefer? The Female lead of the movie or an unknown crew member?"
Though her words angered everyone around, they also knew that the words she spoke were true.
"So, I am saying that you are fired. Now."
Shao Rong counted in her mind while sobbing, 'Five. Four. Three. Two. One.'
"Who do you think you are?" A cold voice was heard from behind, travelling through the grim silence.
