"I have never heard about the academy hiring teachers in the middle of each class." Miles reiterated while they were eating their lunch. This wasn't the first time that she talked about this… teacher. "Must be someone up there."
"How much do you know about Tartarus?" Gabi asked. Aden must have good connections if he could do those things. Or was it Archy? Yes. It should be Aden's father. Archy was a known entity in her past life. It wasn't really that surprising if he knew someone in this country.
"Enough to survive."
"Oh…"
"You?" Miles asked her. For the first time since this woman started eating in her table, this was the first time that she asked her something.
"Ah…not really."
"You do look like someone who didn't know the rules."
Was it that obvious? Gabi read all the rules before the class started so she was confident that she knew everything about it. However, she found ways to take advantage of the vague ones.

I apologize for not uploading more chapters last month. Unfortunately, my place was hit by a typhoon. We didn't have electricity or signal for weeks. I live in Cebu Philippines and the eye of the storm made a landfall on the municipality next to mine.
There was no food, water or fuel for a few days as everyone was panicking. Good thing I already had stock enough for a few days. It was really a hard time. But I am back.
Looking for a reception is really hard but I notice that I have signal around this time so I am uploading chapters.
If you are concern, I am fine. My kids are fine. We are enjoying the electricity. No phones, TV's and stuff. Just playing like the old times.
I hope you had happy holidays. Stay safe and healthy. In this trying times, don't forget to spend more time with your family.
