The crash occurred in an instant. Metal against metal, the damage dealt on both vehicles were great. One was a regular personal car and the other being a jeep, the devastation on the car was greater than the jeep.
Though thankfully it was the jeep that rammed the car from behind so there were barely any injuries on their side. However on the jeep's side, there was a certain person that banged his head.
"Ugh. My head hurts." Tim was unconscious but only for a few minutes.
He passed out only for a while as he was a trained person. The training he went through is very crucial in the current situation. Waking up, he looked around to assess his surroundings.
'Yep, that's a car accident if I ever experienced one. Ah wait, I am experiencing it now.'
Seeing the car he crashed into, he checked to see if anyone was standing outside of the car to complain. There indeed was a person outside but he wasn't looking towards him. The person was looking at something on the ground but Tim couldn't see it from his position.
"Is everyone alright?" Tim asked as he checked behind himself.
He saw one child, one woman and one small white animal.
'That's the right number of people and an extra animal.' Tim thought to himself.
'It seems we're all safe.'
Tim then tried his best to stand up. He used both hands instead of his feet to get out of his seat.
'Ugh, looks like I sprained my left arm."
When the crash happened, he used his left arm to cushion the impact on his face. Even though the airbags deployed, the airbag can also break your neck with enough speed. It was necessary for him to brace himself and it was done out of instinct as well.
"Ugh, excuse me sir?" Tim called out to the person standing outside.
"Can you help me out of the vehicle? I sprained my arm and I can't get out by myself."
Tim was calm and he asked with no hesitation. But he wanted to be swift, the storm he saw before the crash was surely heading towards his direction. It was certainly odd that it was following their every shift in direction. The highway may be straight but they were no longer on the highway since earlier as he saw a lot of traffic so took a detour.
"Sure thing sir." The person standing outside said but he was still staring at something in the distance.
As the man slowly tried to pry the jeep door open, he tried to do small talk so that Tim wouldn't suddenly pass out before he could get him outside the vehicle.
"Sir, do forgive us. The crash happened because we suddenly stopped." The man said in a low tone.
Looking closely, the man had a few bruises on both of his arms. There was no major injury like a heavy wound visible but his head is bleeding very slowly. The man had bumped his head. The airbags only deploy on head-on collisions and not rear-end ones. Even though there are cases where rear-end collisions cause the deployment, they are very rare cases.
The man with a slightly bleeding head, who was oddly crestfallen checked the backseat of the car. He saw a woman holding a small animal a bit too tightly out of fright. She was silent, too silent in the entire ordeal.
'She must have been terrified.' The man thought.
"Hey Ma'am. It's alright. The storm suddenly switched directions towards the south." The man assured Jenny.
Jenny looked at the man but she did not reply. Her eyes were open wide as she stared at the man who was trying to open the door but to no avail.
"Really sir? Thank God." Tim heard the man's statement and heaved a sigh of relief.
It was ironic. The God he gave thanks to was the God who caused all of the mayhem. It would have been a bit better if he had thanked the man who was out to help him out of his predicament.
"Yes. Grace be to the lord above." The man replied with a devoted smile.
After a few tries, the man gave his assessment on the passenger seat door, it wouldn't budge no matter how hard he pulled it. Things may be different if he had a crowbar or something that could act as leverage.
"I'll try the back seat door first sir. Perhaps let the ma'am and the child out first before I help you." The man said with heavy breath.
"Okay. Thank you sir. Thank you very much." Tim gave his heartfelt thanks to the man.
"It's no problem sir. If we hadn't suddenly stopped on the road, this wouldn't have happened at all." The man put an awkward smile on his face and scratched his head with his right hand.
"Still. You are helping us." Tim replied with very gentle looking eyes.
"Why did you suddenly stop by the way?" He continued.
The man looked forward and then he looked towards Tim again.
"Sir. I don't know what's going on either. But it seems a giant hole appeared on the road. Some vehicles out front fell." The man replied.
"It was a good thing we stopped relatively early since I saw the hole from uphill but those in front of me were rushing a bit too much that they couldn't see it. They soon fell to their deaths."
"Oh god." Tim was terrified.
Tim crashing onto the man's vehicle was a miracle, a hundred meters wouldn't be enough to completely stop his vehicle so the sudden deceleration via crashing made him avoid certain death.
"Alright sir. I've caught my breath, let me try the backseat."
As the man touched the backseat door. His wrists were suddenly held with a strong grip.
"!?" The man looked towards his captor, and he saw the woman holding his wrists.
"WHERE IS MY SON?!" Jenny was hysterically asking.
The man was shocked but he collected himself in mere moments.
"Ma'am isn't that your son over there?" The man pointed towards a child wearing loincloth.
"That is not Adam! Where is he!?" Jenny shook the wrists she held in her hands.
The man was conflicted. This was the reason why he was downcast since earlier. He was oddly polite and too calm when his car was thrashed by the man he was saving.
"If you are referring to the boy that flew. Then I'm afraid he's no longer alive ma'am." The man declared.
"He flew quite far, he must have not been wearing his seat belt. His legs were in a disturbing position and both his arms are now pretzels." The man continued.
"My condolences."
In a certain magical realm where God resides. A blob of energy floated but was it was floating in place. After a few moments, a silhouette replaced the blob of energy.
'So I died again.'
Dying is not such a shock to those that experience it plenty of times.
'That wasn't a surprise at all.'
The scene is back to a majestic Godly Realm. This time, there were no toys around but monuments around. The God of this realm is all powerful, and the realm's interior could be changed with one word or a simple snap of fingers.
"Welcome back. That was quite a quick life huh." God said with a laugh.
With mocking eyes, God looked down on the other entity within this godly realm. After experiencing death after only a few years left a bad taste on this person's taste.
"Well, that was your fault!" With extreme rage, God was berated.
"Hahaha, but it was exciting for me." God stated.
God snapped fingers then suddenly came a table with a teapot placed beautifully on it. The table had a very clean tablecloth and there were plates on it as well. There were plates with biscuits and a few napkins.
'I don't want to grab those, not yet.'
It was a proper observation, this God was also as petty as a child. One wrong move and that's another life of misery for you, or so it goes.
"Why aren't you partaking of the snacks I prepared so graciously for you?" This God asked with a smile plastered on the face.
"Well, you haven't given me the permission yet, have you?"
"Oh. Silly me. Forgive me." This God still had a pleasant and innocent smile.
"Of course you can eat and drink those. I made them for you."
Carefully placing hands on the teapot, then skillfully served tea to both of the cups. Oddly enough, in one cup there was regular tea, in the other was full of ectoplasm.
It was a disgusting sight for a person, but to a God it was a delectable drink. The exotic taste and the texture as it flows down the throat is out of this world.
"Thank you for serving it to me this time." God said with a fan in hand.
"But I don't think you're doing this for charity." This God continued.
"Of course. I was hoping you would let me go already."
"I can't do that. But I can give you momentary freedom."
"Deal. Give me 5 lives."
"Alright. Then I'd like you to do as I ask and entertain me better once you're done with those 5 lives. So I guess you're going back to Earth to meet him then?"
"Yes Ma'am."
"Then have fun on Earth, Eve. Send my regards to Weyah." The God, which was a beautiful god with fair skin and feminine traits said.
"Yes. I can't wait to meet Adam." Eve said excitedly.
