I don't even know how this happened but here I am, in this dark cave and he is like a light to me. Shining so bright that the feeling of safety engulfs me wholly. 

"How is this possible?'' I ask him after our long embrace. 

He is still holding me but his eyes are looking around like he is trying to figure something out. 

"Your wolf brought me here,'' he mutters quietly. 

My heart thuds against my chest "Where is Lenny, why are you out in the cold?'' he asks me all at once. 

I don't know how to tell him that Lenny is probably going to be looking for me, that Lenny might not even know that I tried to escape.
