Capítulo 286: The silent spell

I lead Gyles out of the room and he is crying. I don't know what happened while I was gone but the more I witness the sadness, the more sure I am of going with Mage.

"What happened?'' I ask him as I lead him into one of the empty living rooms in the house. He sits down on the couch gently and I wipe the tears off his face.

"Promise you wouldn't be upset with me,'' he stutters and I already know that he has done something. Gyles is the kind of person that makes decisions without consulting other people involved. I already know not to expect too much from him. That is just who he is and I love him despite it all. I just need to keep him in check. Make sure that he doesn't do more damage than we are already in. I don't know what he has done now but seeing that Rex was in the room asleep is okay for me. As long as nothing happens to the two of them—I am happy.

"What did you do?'' I ask him.
