Two weeks later.
Alanis.
The drive back home feels nostalgic.
I haven't been home in a month. I have missed father and mother. I don't think he has officially accepted Beau. This is me trying to convince him to accept the man I love. It has been a while and even though he said he has; I know he hasn't. I park the car in the spot that used to belong to me in the garage. Now, this doesn't even feel like my home. Somehow, the community has become the place I want to be.
It has become my home.
I switch off the ignition and Eligio walks out of the back door of the house with a wide smile on his face. I haven't seen him in a month and I actually miss him a lot. Everything he did for me and Beau. He acted like a true brother and I will never forget all his kindness. The fact that he was the one person that had my back will never be forgotten.
