[Johan's POV]
He didn't know when it started.
Heck, he couldn't even begin to describe what he was feeling. All Johan knew was, he can't let a day passed by without seeing Raymond's smile — a smile that would brighten his entire day. A smile that never lost its brilliance despite the hardship in life. It didn't have to be directed at him. He just wanted to see it, every hour, every minute.
Johan sat on a concrete bench beside an uncovered basketball court, watching a casual basketball game despite having no interest in the sports itself. He didn't even know who LeBron James was, but Raymond tattled about the professional basketball player a lot, and he listened to it just so he could hear him talk.
A nudge to his side tore Johan's gaze away from the basketball court and landed to a petite girl with shoulder-length curls who sat beside him. "Ayesha. Why are you still here? School already ended an hour ago."
This chapter just made me realize how unsuitable I am to write teenage fluff or anything fluffy in general. I'm more into angst. LOL!
