[Johan's POV]
"That was a mess."
"True, girl," Christy agreed to Bianca from her spot next to the driver's seat. She combed her shoulder-length hair and tied it in a loose bun, groaning as she checked her arms. "That damn bitch just bit me. I should have knocked her mouth to the pavement, but I felt a little sorry. Ugh!"
Bianca chuckled. "So you still have humanity left in that state, huh? You just dragged her to the asphalt like a sack of rice."
"Girl, I've been wanting to do that since college. I'm just keeping it to myself because, you know, she's Adrian's girlfriend."
"Not anymore," Bianca corrected and crossed her arms. "Who even gave her alcohol?"
"Sorry. I did," Raymond said, and almost everyone's eyes inside the car zoomed in to him. He shrugged and squeezed Johan's shoulder as he defended himself. "I didn't know she's the ex-girlfriend, okay? And a bottle of beer is not enough to make someone a war freak."
Our internet connection just fucked up. I'm updating through my phone and it's quite a challenge. I don't know when it will be fixed, so there may have lapses in updates, though we only have a few chapters before the end of the volume. Also, I may take a short break after that to prepare for the next volume and some upcoming stories.)
