"Your situation isn't better than Aaron but at least the Heilige family isn't as chaotic as the Blood."
Sabastian chuckled hearing Nyx.
Letting go of Onyx, he turned to Nyx and replied.
"Yeah, Aaron and I are in a similar situation. But he has it tough, is he alright?" Sabastian asked.
"So-so."
"Although the Prince family is also in a mess, your situation is much better than us." Said Sabastian.
Thinking about the three families, Nyx nodded in agreement.
"You're right! Unlike, the Blood family with the Blood candidates and the Heilige family with Sword Saint candidates. I'm the legitimate heir heiress to the Prince family. There are no candidates, just me. They can challenge my authority after I formally take the Prince family on my hands but there are no candidates like the other two families, in the Prince family."
Nyx then turned to the woman beside Sabastian.
She was stunned seeing the beautiful woman.
The woman had beautiful heterochromia eyes, her eyes captured Nyx's complete attention.
'Such mesmerising and beautiful eyes!!!' Nyx said in her mind.
One is dark brown and one is silvery white.
Seeing Nyx's stunned expression, Sabastian quickly introduced his sister to Nyx.
'Oh, Darkness! I know my sister is beautiful but snap out of it, Nyx!' Sabastian inwardly rolled her eyes at his best friend.
Onyx smiled seeing Nyx's expression of awe!
Before Sabastian could introduce Onyx, Onyx introduced herself to Nyx.
"So you're the fiancee/ best friend? Hi! My name is Onyx, Onyx Viviana Heilige."
Returning to reality, Nyx felt embarrassed by her stupid manners.
She quickly replied and introduced herself to Onyx.
"Nice to meet you, Lady Onyx! I heard so much about you from the idiot beside you. My name is Nyx, Nyx Aurelia-Rose Prince."
"Just Onyx is fine or big sis, like what Sabastian calls me. How are you, Nyx? Are you enjoying the party?"
"Alright, I will call you big sis like Basti then! And to be honest with you, big sis? I don't like parties. Especially, parties that have to with the Sacred families. I'm fine, just a bit exhausted I guess."
"I see, I also don't like parties by the sacred families."
Onyx noticed the exhaustion on both her brother and Nyx.
She felt pity seeing the two of them like this.
From what she knows, Nyx is having a hard time with the Prince family.
Unlike, Sabastian who has the support of his siblings.
Nyx is an orphan.
She is alone fighting against her uncle Lyle Prince.
Onyx talked with the two of them for a while.
After some time,
"I see. With how things are developing, they will try to force you to abandon your path first. The path of your swordsmanship requires you to not kill, so they will force into situations where you must kill or have to survive by killing! They can't do anything publicly, but they will scheme against you in the dark. You don't have to worry about them for the meantime, as they will not make any hasty plans against you. Onyx seriously, stared into Sabastian's eyes.
It took a minute for Sabastian to reply to Onyx.
"I understand, sister."
"Hmm."
Maintaining her serious expression, Onyx turned to her side and asked Nyx.
"So the two of you, are you two dating?"
Nyx and Sabastian's face turned green in disgust!
"Ewwwwww! I think I'm going to puke." Nyx said covering her mouth.
"Sister, please! Never ever make such horrible jokes, I beg you!" The thought of kissing his 'bro' that he grew up with, horrified Sabastian.
His whole body shivered just thinking about it!
Sabastian thought he sure will have nightmares about it tonight!
Seeing the two of them extremely disgusted by her tease, Onyx felt confused and puzzled.
The two of them looks great together and they act like they are a couple. So why is the response of her tease is so extreme and completely opposite of what she thought?
Seeing the confused and puzzled look on Onyx, Nyx sighed and revealed to her.
"Big sis, we are not a couple. We can't be a couple because it's impossible for us!"
"Huh?"
"I'm a lesbian and he's straight." Nyx whispered enough for Onyx to catch her words.
"..." Onyx.
"Oh!" It took several moments for Onyx to process Nyx's revelation.
"But aren't you two engaged? If you two are not a couple, then why are you two keeping the engagement farce?" Confused Onyx questioned.
"Sister, think about Nyx's circumstances first. You will find the answers."
Nodding to Sabastian, Onyx went through everything she knows about Nyx.
Soon she found her answers.
Feeling sorry for Nyx, she gave some words of encouragement to Nyx.
"I hope everything turns out okay for you, Nyx. I know the Prince family will never accept you as their leader if they found out about your sexuality. But as long as you can overcome the hurdles and take in charge of the Prince family, no one can deny you! So stay strong, Nyx."
Onyx left leaving these words to Nyx.
Seeing Onyx leave, Nyx opened her mouth watching Onyx's back.
"Your sister is hot, bro!"
"!!!"
"Please, don't give me more nightmares!" Sabastian pleaded.
"Hahaha!"
Suddenly, Nyx caught a glimpse of someone.
Her expression fell, seeing that person.
Declan Harrington was walking towards them.
"Hey! Follow me and help me out bro!"
Puzzled by her words, Sabastian wanted to ask but Nyx took his hands and guided him towards somewhere.
Declan from distance saw Nyx leaving the hall with someone, he didn't get to see who it was but the person beside Nyx was handsome.
Declan frowned seeing the smile on Nyx's face.
He secretly followed the two of them.

In a balcony, Sabastian and Nyx were alone.
"Kiss me!" Nyx seriously stared into Sabastian's ocean blue eyes.
"!!!" Sabastian stiffened hearing Nyx.
'Did you lost your mind or something?'
There was a horrified expression on Sabastian's face.
"Just kiss me, bro! Help me out!!!" Nyx urged.
But Sabastian.exe crashed.
Nyx sighed seeing her best friend like this.
"Idiot!" Muttered Nyx.
While Sabastian's system was rebooting, Nyx approached Sabastian slowly.
Wrapping her arms around his neck, Nyx leaned forward. Their lips were almost touching.
"!!!"
'Oh my, darkness! Help!!!' Sabastian screamed in his mind.
But with the corner of his eyes, he saw someone trying to peak on them.
Finally, Sabastian understood what Nyx was trying to do.
'Ah, I see. So that's why!'
Sabastian gave a slight nod to Nyx before he wrapped his arms around Nyx's hips.
The of them were extremely close and was in an intimate position.
Sabastian and Nyx created an illusion for Declan to see.
Declan who was peeking on them was seething in anger seeing Nyx with someone else!
From his position, he could see that they were kissing.
Declan cursed the ba**ard Nyx was kissing, a thousand times in his mind.
For the final touch, Nyx left her lipstick mark near Sabastian's lips and cheeks.
Sabastian broke away from Nyx and called out to the person peeking on them.
"Who's there!"
Declan who was caught came out of hiding.
He was furious but didn't let it show in his face.
Making an apologetic face, Declan replied to Sabastian.
"I apologise for the inconvenience caused by me, Mr?"
"Sabastian, Sabastian Franz Heilige!" Sabastian said giving out his identity.
Declan was surprised!
But his resentment and fury didn't lessen but increased hearing the ba**ard's name, who was kissing Nyx.
"I see... So it is, Young Master Heilige! I apologise for the inconvenience caused by me, Mr Heilige. I was lost and wanted to have a breath of fresh air, I didn't intend to disturb you two."
"It's alright, we are finished here. You can have the balcony to yourself, Mr Harrington!"
Turning to Nyx, Sabastian said trying to make himself look cool.
It's been so long since he acted to deceive people with someone else.
Last time he put on a show like this was in his previous life with one of his friends to spread some scandalous rumours.
It's not just Declan who saw them but some Heilige family guards and some guest saw them too.
After all, the two were on the balcony.
Declan clenched his fists and grit his teeth before leaving the balcony.
"The rumours won't be bad, it's beneficial to both of us. The idiots who were in doubt about the engagement will shut up for now." Sabastian whispered for only Nyx to hear.
Nyx nodded in agreement.
"Let's go inside and see the result of our 'intimate display of affection', shall we?"
Sabastian offered his arm to Nyx before going back to the party.
While they were walking Nyx spoke up.
"Clean your face, but let me give you another mark on your neck so they can see how much in 'LOVE' we are."
"Are you not satisfied? Why do you have to make me suffer along with you, geez!!!" Complained Sabastian before wiping the lipstick mark from his face. But there was still traces left on his face.
Nyx leaned onto Sabastian and left a lipstick mark under Sabastian's collar.
"I feel sullied!" Sabastian grimaced having Nyx who is his 'Bro' being so intimate with him.
"And I'm having fun! Haha!!!" Laughed Nyx before she dragged Sabastian back to the party.
